tried using the old mod and worked up to new content, but got lots of grey screen now and then and I also think new content is blocked as it say you finished 0.14 not 0.15 so gonna try without mod

Well, the mod won't break anything, but it will overwrite the changes that were made in the "a" version as if they weren't there.
