Agreed, full save needed. Once you finish the game you don't get the option to unlock the full gallery and you are forced to replay the game for each other story path.

Get as many points for the character of your choosing like in the very begging of the game the normal elf likes you comforting the bird and sleeping under the tree the dark elf likes you ignoreing the bird and sleeping in the libary.
