There isnt any female mc, even in the previous version of the game there wasnt any,and it isnt in the planned tag either.

It's just that someone here assumed that Ashley or Laura were the mc, and the dev just answered the question about lesbian, nothing more.

No, it's a different story with some element of the other game (from what the dev said), but the core of the story remain relatively similar to the previous one, with some minor difference in the background of character and how some event are occuring

For example in both versions it's during a mission they take from Amanda that everything go wrong, in the previous game Laura and Ashley betray mc and Ashley even try to kill him,before Laura persuaded her to not doing it and abandon him in an alleyway instead, when here even though it dont look like they planed any betrayal, it seem like something similar will happen anyway, based on what the overview of this version of the game say.

Well, I was already thinking that I would have to start all over again, delete my save from the other game and just play this one now, thank goodness I didn't.

You can't. In the original you had the opportunity to change the name further into the story (not sure if that will be the same).
