Hello everyone!
I wanted to post this closer to the weekend, specifically on Friday, but something happened that I need to share, as it affects the development progress.
First, I’ll share the current progress for those not interested in the story of what happened to me:
As of now, *
322 images are ready*. That’s all I can share for the moment.
The following text is for those curious about what happened:
Last evening, I was sitting and posing when my neighbor from the same building rang my doorbell, saying someone had hit my car. I immediately got dressed and went to check what happened. When I went downstairs, no one was around—just a note with a phone number. After inspecting the damage, I called the person responsible for the accident. We agreed to meet, and a few minutes later, she arrived at the scene. Yes, she had left the accident site, and I’m not entirely sure how much time had passed since it happened. We talked briefly, and she suggested we resolve the matter privately without involving the police. (I don’t know how it works in other countries, but in Russia, if the person at fault leaves the accident scene, their driver’s license is revoked.)
I didn’t know the exact repair cost, as I first needed to send photos of the damage to my usual mechanic. I gave her an approximate amount but clarified that I wasn’t sure if the damaged part needed replacement or if it could be repaired. She replied that she couldn’t resolve the issue alone and that we’d need to wait for her husband, who would be back in town on Wednesday. We parted ways on that note.
I called the mechanic, sent him the photos, and we discussed the repair cost. After that, I contacted the woman again and told her the amount they needed to pay. I’ll skip the details of the conversation, but I got the impression she was very unhappy with the quoted sum. Tomorrow evening, we’re meeting with her husband. If they disagree with the repair cost, I’ll have to call the police, file a report, and take the case to court. Since she left the scene, the cars weren’t documented at the accident location, and so on. I really hope we can reach an agreement and they’ll pay the amount my mechanic quoted.
For now, I can’t give exact timelines for when I’ll be able to dedicate as much time to the game as before. That’s the story.
See you in the next development status update, folks!
I’ll attach a preview of the episode below.
Thank you all for your support—I need it now more than ever. Take care of yourselves.
