Seeking Better Female MC games sought

So I primarily look for female main character games.

Unfortunately, most of them seem to have been written by a porn script writer who's recently had a head injury.
They're also hard to find in here. The people who put the games up seem to add in 'female protagonist' to the tags if there's a female character that has some sort of role in the story, whether or not she's controlled by the character at all.

So what I would love is if you could give me your number 1 recommendation for a female MC game (and any others if you'd like, but I would like to see what your top recommendation is)
I'd also like an idea of what you liked about the game, what appealed to you.


My personal constraints are...

Obviously, female main character. I'm not really interested in games where it swaps back and forth, anything like that... it's okay a little I guess, but primarily the woman's POV, please.

No vore, no gore, no scat, I'm not even particularly fond of watersports.

I don't really care that much about graphical quality, as long as the writing is decent.

I don't care about the engine used.

The less porn logic, the better. I don't mind if it takes a while to get to the action.

I much prefer 'simulation' games, where you step into her daily shoes, but I'll settle for a good virtual novel.
Again, the more 'realistic' the reactions.. with some allowance for it being a sex game... the better.


So yeah, I'd really like to find something good to play, and I'd really like to see what attracts your attention in here.

I've played good girl gone bad before, and while it's really well done in general, from what I remember it's way too full of the 'alpha male' bs. To me that's the worst kind of porn writing

Fallout 4 mod, needs some hours to go through setup if you haven't modded the game before. Also may come across as being from a porn script writer who's recently had a head injury, but damn does he make good high-energy smut.

Ladykiller in a Bind - an active lesbian protagonist who actually does stuff, superior plot for a female-protagonist game, bdsm scenes including soft domme scenes, a bit at a midpoint between romance and corruption, yuri but sex scenes with male characters are possible, beautiful art and music are almost at the level of A Summer's End

Left Hand Magic - a bi switch protagonist with skills and motives, an interesting plot premiss, much more sex scenes with a lot of bdsm but still with an operating plot, all LIs are female btw

Newlife - It's text only. You can ignore the transformation tag as it is all optional. You design your female protagonist, then set up her calendar on a weekly basis - going to work, evening activities then weekend activities. There's hardly any story, and it tries to be a realistic life simulator but with none of the minutiae. It's very well written with no porn-logic, and has an interesting sex-engine. You can choose to be straight, bi or lesbian, and you can get knocked up and have kids.

The download is tiny so nothing to lose by giving it a go!

It's updated monthly but only with a couple of bugfixes and a new scene nobody cares about - the dev has clearly long since lost interest, and is just milking now.
