How do you get the "secret" character mentioned in the update notes that's watching you? Can I not see her because I'm using an old save file or have I done something wrong?
A game about domming furry women? praise be to the dev 
I encountered the secret character when you went to the sex shop at night, you get a cutscene while on the streets outside. Happened on the second or third day i think but could happen earlier.

If you are using an old savefile that could be the reason. To see the "purple creature" simply go to the shop every day in the night and it should happen in the second day

More progress with the Roxanne (zoo girl)'s quest line, both MC banging her (you need to buy dick juice from the store) and the start of a beast side plot.
Intro's reworked a bit there's now some cosmic horror world building. The zoo quest builds on this, and there's a random event where you get kidnapped by an eldritch horror.
Mara (police officer in the park) now has 4 exercise options so you can train Flexibility and Stamina without changing her Affection.
Might be more, that's all I can remember.

He only has two scenes currently, the game mentioned it will just keep looping the scene for now.

If you click the twitter link, it literally says "account suspended" so maybe if you use your best detective skills you might be able to figure out the mystery of what could possibly have happened.
