Not my first choice for this one but you gotta love an epic finale and there would be no annoying questions about sequels.

you're right, no questions about sequels, however no one said anything about PREQUELS, and i hope Droosk gonna do something like:
after the end we get a screen saying something like: "and so their journey came to an end,but this isn't all. if you're curious about how things played out in Euchora before MC and his friends arrived there, tune in to my next game"
btw Drooskati since the next game is a prequel, will there hopefully be a nod to Between Two World in the end?
Very much so. I already know the closing sequence of DD. I can't say, because it will be a spoiler to the connecting stories, but I rather like it.
Also, I recently announced on my server that if BTW ever hits $1,000,000 net revenue on Steam (Note: that is before Steam and Uncle Sam take their cuts. It would NOT mean I'm a millionaire!), I'd make a sequel to BTW.

net is used to denote money in the bank after expenses and taxes, i think you meant to say "$1,000,000 gross revenue on Steam" gross is money made at point of purchase/sale/earning before expenses and taxes
Normally, yes. That isn't how Steam does it. Net to them is after international tax obligations, refunds, fraud, etc. Gross is all revenue, period, regardless of the deductions Steam is required to do before any other calculations.
Since going into Early Access in 2022, I'm at about $420,000 net with Steam. As a reminder, Steam takes 30%, and then Uncle Sam takes about 28%.ha, I'm curious now, how close you are to that mark
Edit: Just editing to say that I've never been shy about sharing my numbers. I'm clearly not getting rich on this. Hell, this isn't even the most I've made on an annual basis in my lifetime. But I live comfortably and I am able to do this full time, which is great.

ah so they misuse net to mean and "internal-gross" or "sub-gross" revenue, i never knew steam did that.
Probably confuses a lot of uneducated or 3rd world indie game Devs on steam (which there seem to be a lot of

Hey, everyone! Just a quick public post to let you all know that the first true beta, containing the entire story and most of the art for the full update, will be happening on the 12th! That's right. Chapter 10, which will conclude the game, will be going into full proper beta in just over a week! This is both exciting and sad at the same time. I've spent a few years with these characters now. Saying goodbye to them is proving to be quite difficult. However, nothing can last forever.
It has been such an incredible journey to bring this story to you all. Thank you all so much for coming along with me. That being said, the adventures in Euchora aren't over.
Immediately after finishing BTW, I'll be jumping into the next project. This will be a prequel story to BTW, though it will also stand on its own. The name will be Darkness and Desire, and it will tell the story of how the events played out between Alora and Alorine originally. You will, of course, take part in those events! I've already got both the beginning and ending mapped out, so now it'll just be filling in the path between the two.
In closing, I do expect to be able to stick to the Patron Tier schedule in regards to the beta. Those in the Alorine or Triplet tiers have direct access to the beta tester channel on Discord, which means they have access to the beta on Steam as soon as the testers do. Hannah tier will get access via zip file download 14 days before the planned Steam release, and then down the line through the other tiers.
I look forward to hearing from you all once it's out!

Any tags for the next one yet (so we know without spoilers where we're headed)?
It'll basically be along the same lines as BTW, tbh. Not interested in making it extreme. It'll also be quite a bit smaller/shorter. I'm expecting a playthrough to take ~4-5 hours, vs the ~14-15 hours in BTW. For those who actually buy the games, it'll also be priced appropriately at just $7.99. It'll be in a bundle with BTW, so those who already own BTW will be able to get a base discount as well, so even cheaper
Due to the shortened time frame, I do expect development to take WAY less time. There will still be branching stories, but not as much as BTW. Only one core ending (with some variations based on choices), since it has to end a certain way to lead into BTW eventually (several hundred years later).

Glad to hear it, it's one of the things I've liked about this one - the porn/sex elements to not detract from the overall story. I like story-first games - basically just a good story, with explicit sex. For me at least, when the sexual parts get too extreme (or too porny) it detracts from the overall story by making it all less believable. I'm probably in the minority, but I was never tempted by anyone but Hannah - having the MC already be with the best girl from the start allowed me to just focus on the story and let the A part of AVN just happen on its own.It'll basically be along the same lines as BTW, tbh. Completely understandable, but I will say, you're missing out on a lot of really good, touching, and respectful scenes with the other ladies. I'm incredibly proud of all of them. Also, Hannah is ALWAYS involved in some form. It's never MC alone with someone else.

Kind of the same and not for me. I really only interested in Hannah but as I tend to do with most AVN's I check out almost everything it has to offer. So naturally I also played the poly path and tbh while Hannah is my #1 the poly path made me almost as interested in Skylar ( I think that's her name blue hair girl) but not anyone else. So basically Hannah always #1 but Skylar is a close 2nd.

I have only 2 saves, Hannah only and the poly one just so I can see more content but you're right, if it wasn't for that, Hannah only would be my canon ending. Not interested in the "dark" version.

I just wish more AVNs would do this. Create an S tier Li and have the two of you already together - so you don't have to worry about relationship points (or whatever that Dev uses) and conflicts between lis and 'relationship quests' vs story quests etc. You've already got the girl, lewd scenes will happen regularly and now you and the girl are going to go save the world (or whatever you're going to do) and then straight into the story. Obviously there are some good games that do it the other way, but I like the start-in-a-good/healthy-relationship games and there aren't a ton of them.
