I'd like to ask you something since you are an expert on this. In the case of Bible Black there are no background moans during h-scenes, but some VNs do have that.... I get the impression that Ren'py isn't able to do that. Obviously it's an endless loop of some audio file or files, and at the same time that's happening, music will also be playing, and also at the same time, voice lines also play. So I guess 3 channels of audio can be playing at the same time. It sounds simple enough, but can Ren'py do that? I ask you this because you might know that Cherry Kiss, the game studio, ports their games from Krkr to Ren'py.... and they always, always cut the background moans out. I'm confused whether Ren'py straight up can't do it, or if they're just incompetent. I'm sure you know more than they do about Ren'py honestly, which is why I gotta ask you. Even just so I can try to understand it more, cause it would be nice to try and fix those games.

I just find it kinda interesting, because even though you say that, Cherry Kiss, an actual publisher, couldn't figure it out

Probably would have but that would obviously require having detailed knowledge on the code and knowing exactly how to add one to the game.
I don't know how easy it would be for someone to implement it and be detailed enough for each choice and ending?
An easier option would be to have the gallery unlocked from the beginning so people can still play it if they want or look at the scenes in the gallery.

Thank you so much for your hard work and in preserving and restoring this classic nearly lost to time. I know you have plans to do infection next, but I would like to ask that you also consider doing Discipline as well at some point. same state that bible black was in and just as fondly remembered. many of us never to the chance to enjoy it because it is extremely finicky on modern hardware.

TBH it happens because I renamed the game folder from "test-something" to "Bible Black". You can try putting your old saves in the new folder. It might work.
As already said, renpy has 3 channels and more can be created with different settings, so I think it wasn't an engine problem.
And, of course, I can add the option to open the whole gallery. I think I'll do it in the next update with fixed bugs (there are still some, I believe).

The truth is that I like how it sounds in Spanish. If we were to translate it literally into Spanish, it would be the la noche de las brujas (night of the witches). It is a very complicated language, but I understand some words, and the fact that it is in Spanish gives more strength to the title.
Although if I remember correctly from when I traveled to Spain this festival is called the night of San Juan. You had to make a wish and then jump over a bonfire in the beach to protect you from evil spirits.
