You mean before the end of December, Agree with the patience statement but using this logic no one should critisise the social media companies if their servers are down as most of the users are free users.

Development has been moving slowly because several people from different countries are involved, and everyone’s working on the project in their spare time. A lot of that time goes into the game’s branching logic — the three main story paths.

The next update will absolutely be out before December 25.
About 30–40% of the game has been reworked, both in terms of story and visuals.
A full second day has been added.
Three major routes.
Lots of new video content.

What I honestly don’t understand is why so many people react negatively or get impatient. The game is free. There is a way to support it. And in an entire year, only one person chose to support the project.

Those companies still make their money by selling users data that's how their business model works, meanwhile this developer works for free.

To be honest only one donation for the entire year is brutal. I don't know how dev still couldn't figure out how to monetize the game. There are a lot of Russian devs in this forum making money, dev is probably from North Korea or something.

Who is stopping them from putting advertisement in their games if they have online games option or Endorse products in their games.

Because you've decided that crypto is the only way to monetize your project.
You've been offered a million options: kofi, boosty, patreon, itch, Steam Early Access, and you always come up with a reason to refuse. Isn't it too much to complain about the lack of monetization under these conditions?

The dev's deciding which monetization method works best for the project. We went with this one. The next move's up to you guys.

My first crypto wallet was back in 2015. Dude... Is this really that hard for you? Guess it's easier to just wait another year for an update.

Though right now I've got some job offers from another team. As for what happens with the game next—well, development definitely ain't gonna speed up

Fair enough the choice is up to you, but I know the crypto aspect is another barrier. I don't pay for anything with crypto and if there was a patreon for this game I would have supported, but unfortunately I'm not going to support a dev with crypto, it's not personal to you of course. The fact only one person has supported is wild but I think indicates that barrier is having the same effect on a lot of people.

I understand there's difficulties with using anything non-crypto for your region which is really unfortunate because imo the game does deserve more support than that.

I get you but just a small tip, if there's any one thing about a project that you should listen to the players on, it's absolutely how to make it easier for them to give you money.
In my case, for reference, any of those methods the other dude suggested are varying degrees of convenient, while crypto is an actual risk of jailtime where I live. It's already a big ask for people to learn about crypto just to fund a porn game they like the potential of instead of just signing into one of these funding platforms and clicking a couple of buttons to subscribe.
