Can anyone briefly describe where last update finished without spoiling too much. I played it earlier in the year.. or maybe early summer. There was somekind of presentation to the locals
Just Play it again, it's short as hell. Also played it at a similar time and forgot tho, lol...

It was at the beginning of the year that the last update was released, I hope it has a lot of content.
I don't know how complex this game is, but almost 9 months have passed.
Some child who was conceived at the exact moment this game was updated must have been born sometime soon, lol.

What does 'soon' mean to you? A week, two, a month? How big will this update be?
By the time, it will be full version. And its everyday a closer day to the release... Just wait
Is the v0.0.6 demo the only version? I just finished talking to Boris and it ended there, is that the current one?
Is there any indication an update is coming? Given it's been so long, where is this hope stemming from unless the dev has said something concrete (not just 'be patient' lol)?

Development has been moving slowly because several people from different countries are involved, and everyone’s working on the project in their spare time. A lot of that time goes into the game’s branching logic — the three main story paths.
The next update will absolutely be out before December 25.
About 30–40% of the game has been reworked, both in terms of story and visuals.
A full second day has been added.
Three major routes.
Lots of new video content.
What I honestly don’t understand is why so many people react negatively or get impatient. The game is free. There is a way to support it. And in an entire year, only one person chose to support the project.
The next update will absolutely be out before December 25.

You mean before the end of December, Agree with the patience statement but using this logic no one should critisise the social media companies if their servers are down as most of the users are free users.
