Close the game if it is open. Rename or delete the persistent file in both its saving paths. Then run the game and check if your problem is solved or not.

I did, every time i copy the update to the game folder it doesn’t update to the new version. Maybe i have the wrong game downloaded, can you send me the link to the game if possible?

Always unpack into a empty directory. And don't forget to apply the bugfix patch.

If you unpack into a non empty directory with a old patch, that one will actually downgrade the game you just downloaded.
