In a way, once Eric is gone, it becomes a very normal porn game. Where all the ladies are just falling for, well, the beta MC. I mean, MC got expelled from school from harassing a teacher, (not sure if the original BB is the same plot, i forgot), the sisters and mom don't really see him as a man, and yet, if without Eric, they would still go for him. With Eric, there is a reason why the family will look up to MC, if MC proves that Eric is a villian, etc. Not that MC is a saint.

All in all, I feel that Eric creates more challenge, true, I believe people dislike it, due to him able to sleep with the mother immediately, but still, the chances of Mom sleeping with a man that is her superior, and to quote what she says, charming, is more believeable than the Mother hooking up with the MC. Though it is not seen, since the game is on MC's POV, Eric spends alot of time with the Mother, as they work at the same place, when MC is lurking around the house, peeking, Eric is charming the Mother... So yeah....

In the entire original, he never becomes a man. No one falls for him. No one ever looks up to him. All problems of the game. Kira manipulates all the events which allow MC to have sex with his family. The only real emotion in the story is MC's lust for his family. There is nothing else. Everything that I dislike about this story starts with Eric.

Well there is a lot of debate about that. But I think that the dev. was losing his patron acc. because of incest in the game but I am shore that someone on this site knows more than me. Don't think it maters anymore that dev. has moved on to making a different game called glamour. He is remaking part of BB in that game. It's not quite the same.

It is the same game. All characters in BB has been introduced in Glamour (with the exception of Eric). But with different platform. DS said with this new platform, there are multiple ways to continue BB unlike the old one, which is blocked by some platform boundaries.

It is the same game, but it's still progressing in a slower pace, because,
1. DS also building a 2nd character, with a possible having a cross paths with Max
2. DS remaking the entire story BB from the beginning into the new platform.
I assume it need another ~5-10 updates before Glamour catches up with the last abandoned states of BB.

It's what DS trying to impose to patreon for months. But between the platform limited capability, and months of losing progress to patreon rules, he decided to start anew. Plus, what do you think will happen when someone uses the same name for a game that got blocked for certain reason?

It would be a different outcome if he doesn't use "Big Brother" in his game title.

But I also haven't mentioned about the size of DS patrons that could be one of the reasons that his game got in patreon sensors. The more popular one game, the more reasons that game got so many critics and complains.

EDIT. how could MC a step-son if there's a "Big Brother" in his game title? that's so weird. He could change it to "Big-Step-Brother"? LOL

People will always find something to complain about no matter the game. Eric being in the game has 0 drawbacks, it keeps the genre fresh by adding a twist to an otherwise boring generic harem game and it spices up gameplay being having features that require the player to actually interact instead of being a sterotypical scene/gallery hunting game.

Despite what people might say, Eric plays a huge role in Big Brother, I think without him the game becomes mediocre and boring.

No problem with Eric in the game but if you have NTR for those that like it and avoidable for those that don't you keep more fans. Drawbacks to Eric was not that he was in the game it was that you had no way to fight back. Max could not get rid of Eric he had to get some one else to do it. A way for Max to win the fight with Eric for some and a way to keep him for others is the best way to go. There can be challenges in the game with no NTR but it is better to have NTR so you keep those fans just make it so that those that get rid of Eric have no more NTR and those that keep him do.

First of all, if this game was told from Eric's point of view and Max was your girlfriend's annoying cock blocking son. Everyone would be hating on Max and want him sent to "bootcamp" as fast as possible.

That's why Eric has never been a problem to me because I always saw "Big Brother" as a voyeur/peeping game because of the cameras, sneaking and since Max is not actually the big brother(Max is the middle child).

Unfortunately Dark Silver never utilized the cameras and pretty much stopped the peeping after removing Eric and the game stopped being interesting and DS moved on to his "Glamour" project.

I personally hope Aleksey90 continues the original plan for Big Brother and so far it looks like he is with all the different CGs from peeping instead of the single image events DS had with his game.

I took the best case...if god forbid what you are saying is truth then i doubt it will reach even to bb0.13 before we see "ABANDONED"...practically no one waits for so long time...
I on other way thinking..we all know at max only 4 updates per year with max which means DS will have to put atleast 3-4x content of BB in each update ..because as expected even with Kate proper sex scenes are now developed after sooo long waiting ..Bt i think all will depend on his TOP Tier supporters...hope they make DS do that...in end no one wants to loose top supporters..
