I blame that on Kate. Ever since she was brought in the story, Alice changed a lot and there was no need for that. I think nobody liked dom Alice, and the whole blackmail part imho was just stupid.
To be fair the whole game was already derailing by that time, but that's old news.

Aleksey has said that he's going to introduce Kate in the story aswell, and i'm praying that part of the game is completly different from the original. He has shown several times he has a lot of good ideas, i just wish he changes mostly everything from the Kate-Alice-Max relationship of the original.

pity-this game could and should have been a milestone classic under darksilver . i had hoped that a new dev would not make the same mistakes but it seems this is not another story but the same one retold.i had high hopes for this and asked early on wether the porn film storyline was being included or as you say her history would provide the story as it should be-no worries,i wish you all the best but this could of been so much more:(

Nope, it is another story. There are differences in the story already and soon there will be a massage parlor for Max for example. The porn film storyline which will be there in the future would also probably be different.
Perhaps you wanted something radically different with the same models. In that case I would say that this isn't so. But it is certainly different.

He was done many renders with Max/Alice before starting to work on the game.
