I'm not a fan of Eric, I hate him. But as long as there is a way to completely stop him in front of others, I have no problem with his presence in the game. In other words, as long as I can fully stand against him, it does not matter to me whether he is in the game or not, how long he is in the game or how he leaves the game. There will certainly be many challenges along the way that will make the game even more exciting. It will be a lot of fun to see Eric's futile efforts against MC, or being harassed by MC (like a cat playing with its food). But on condition that all the efforts of the MC reach the desired goal, not that it is forced to accept some cases.
This is a personal opinion and I am not the only player of this game.
Whether we like it or not, Eric is currently in the game. The issue is how to deal with this game character. This game has two story lines. Each of these story lines of this game can be designed in such a way as to keep its fans satisfied.

So, once again I'll try to give a history/explanation of (EVIL Scum) Eric and the life and times of BB. 
Gonna spoiler cause it gets a bit long. If you have no interest then PLEASE skip this. I am NOT attacking anyone, if you like Eric then that's your feelings and hey go you. I do NOT like him, I want him gone. My feelings MAY color this, but I will TRY to be fairish.
OK, that's my abbreviated take on the ORIGINAL Saga.
I have so far enjoyed this version of the story, and hope that it continues and becomes BETTER than the original. As long as the 'Eric is Friend' path is separated so I can avoid it then I don't mind much. Are there currently things that I dislike or would want to see changed in this game? Yes, but I accept them and can still enjoy.
Sadly, this post will NOT settle anything or calm the arguments/disputes about Eric. I know that I skipped some things, but feel I was accurate for the most part. Some will want to argue that I am wrong about some of the things in this post or may declare that I don't understand the reasons for events. I have posted my thoughts and feelings on this matter and am (hopefully) done being serious.

How the fuck are there still arguments about Eric? Like goddamn.
Because he's the brightest part of the game - not bad, not good, just the most eye-catching (and still very, very poorly implemented).
Without him, the game became just click-click-fuck, click-click-fuck ..
My theory is that in the original version, Eric did not go anywhere, he just changed his gender and became Kira. More precisely, Kira became the female version of Eric. She became the "key" to all women .

If you forget in the original Kira also disappear from the game.Yes she was there but after the middle of the game there is no content with her at all.Another great mistake.

Because Eric is like a hiccup. Unwanted but keeps coming back
all the talk in the world but no one is talking about the mystery of the house thats sopose to b in the game. the house was the fathers & came with 1 preinstalled cam. so why was the house build? also who & why was the cam installed? & where is the father? no one is asking any of these question or answering them.
People don't hate Eric, they hate NTR. If for example you remove Eric from the game and put a character that flirts with Lisa for example and make Max fight for her, players will hate it. Thousands of games are successful without NTR, but have you noticed that these games are successful due to renderings and animations? Big Brother was successful because of his fetish, in fact, all the characters seemed very familiar which led to a good game of real incest. I think the hype for this game is being shattered, not because of the developer but by the community. Most people are tired of seeing an MC who has a honey cock and that all women fall on their knees on it. And then people say, if you're not satisfied, choose another game. Good idea, because whoever loses is the developer and not the guy who is supporting your project. I played the recent version, and to tell you the truth, I didn't feel like going any further. When I played the version of Dark Silver I would like to see certain things in the game, but when I play that version it seems that I am playing that original game again. Anyway, it's pathetic to fight over NTR, the game was originally made to have NTR, it was made to have an interesting script, something that would make the player get involved with the story and have fun with it, in addition to enjoying it the good porn game.

Eric needs to live and be seducing Alice as much as possible behind the Moms back. Only Max will know and he can either help Eric or go nuts because no one believes him when he tells on them. Alice should have Eric help with her sex cam after Max helps her set it up just to add to the NTR, all while the Mom is oblivious while taking a bath or by Eric making her stay at the office and work while he comes and visits Alice during the day.
Max can find ways to fuck with them if he wants to try and stop their affair or not.

Not to mention, in the first original BB, after Eric was cut out of the game, the story went to shit.

Wow, I get it now, NTR lovers, just want a challenge. This is indeed good news. Eric has been so much trouble for the dev. Now he can forget Eric and NTR. Just put a challenge in the game, everyone's happy that way. I'll inform Aleksey, right away. Don't worry, I'll give full credit to all those here, that informed me about this. Thank you.
Honestly I don't think the reason matters. Personally, I don't like NTR but I do like having a worthy adversary. So as long as I can beat him I do enjoy the challenge of it. I think most people who want NTR are going to lose to Eric on purpose though, which is also fine if that's what they like.
Where devs run into problems is when they make it so this rival is either guaranteed to win or guaranteed to lose. That's when people start getting irritated by it. In that scenario either the NTR fans or the vanilla fans are guaranteed to not get what they want.
I think most of the initial hate for Eric came from the fact that when he first appears he's an overpowered opponent unless you know exactly how the mechanics required to thwart him work (which is not likely in your first playthrough). The game doesn't really give you much info on how to beat him on your first playthrough until he's already gotten farther with Kira, Lisa, and Alice than non NTR fans would want. After you know how things work he's easy to thwart.

this game does need eric bc its tring to b the 1st of a new stye game. yes u are right there are other successful games out but none of this type that ive seen.it is a mikes of a challenge if player wants to get rid of eric but for thos who dont can keep him. for me eric can have scences in the game that the mc personality wont do, & i like to see how the dev go about with thos scences.
but till the game gets finished & we see the finish product its hard to say if this game will b successful or not, & if its decent we could start see more games like this one.

i dont think it went to shit , it just became like all the other incest games out there with it little twist.Not to mention, in the first original BB, after Eric was cut out of the game, the story went to shit.
Come on as soon as Erick leaves the game this will become a Glamour 2.0 and personally glamor seems boring to me, it has me more interested in Aleks' releases with Erick's progress in history because it is new content, what follows in the story after erick leaves everyone knows and until that point and add original content is yet another year.

If I remember from the original big brother we had to get rid of Eric so Max could progress with Ann, but I also remember that everyone complained about Eric being gotten rid of in the original version as well
it would be better if some how Max could get evidence against Eric and use that to help him progress with Ann without her knowing

I have to say that I am genuinely shocked people are still unclear as to why the original failed (and more specifically if it people abandoned it after losing Eric). I meant he question was answered by the developer himself years ago and is still posted on his Glamour Patreon right now:
"unfortunately, Patreon has changed their policy about games like Big Brother, so working on it on Patreon is now impossible."
He made the reason clear, he had no choice. It was also widely publicized at the time. As for Eric, it is fine if some people really liked that story arc, but it doesn't change that he got rid of Eric because of the backlash and the game remained EXTREMELY popular long after he was gone. Actually, DarkSilver had said almost the exact opposite at the time. The post is long gone now but it was something to the effect of, most people hated Eric and he had to get rid of him, but DarkSilver had a plan for the game that included Eric to the end. Getting rid of him was a frustrating blow to his story line and then when it got banned from Patreon, he almost saw it like a sign. He already had started work on Glamour and decided to just leave Big Brother like it was.
