I guess that people who are really not into playing games with BDSM content are probably avoiding BB games in general. Spanking punishment is a part of the content and Max' private sessions with Alice include spanking and bondage in all the games.
Your guess is wrong. There's quite a difference between spanking and that circus with handcuffs, leather suits and sadistic games some people like. There's a lot of that crap in Glamour and there was just a few in BBAS before last update for Alice.

Me too. It's not a kink shaming, it's just a try to avoid kink shuffling (pretty physical spanking / role playing BDSM).
In BB series there's a bit of role playing too, but with a different scenario.

You shouldn't mistake sadism and torture for BDSM and so demonize BDSM.
BDSM today is used by most people as a consenting roleplay and cosplay with some power exchange and maybe painplay. Focus should be on safe, sane and consensual. (Maybe the spanking punishments in BB games are not consensual, but they are based on rules (avoidable) and are far from the extremes of sadism and torture.)

While Lisa is more the submissive type, Alice and Max are more dominant. However they all are willing to switch in playful, sexual situations.
If you remember BB and Glamour, then

While it certainly is absurd for someone to get so butthurt about the part1 part2 business, an easier and commonly used route would have .07a and .07b.

Max can listen to Eric talking to his real girlfriend when on the wallet path ... there Eric reveals that he wants the house.
I don't remember if Eric wants to kill everybody or just dump them. Since he controls Ann, marrying her would allow him to take direct control/ownership of the house.
The plot is very weak considering that Eric is using a false name and don't want to draw attention by certain people ....
I guess it was added to promote Eric from rival to villain just before Max get rid of him ...

I didn't finish the original but I was told Eric was only a small part of the original. That seems like a pretty huge arc for a small part. Makes me want to restart the original and also wonder what the completed game would have looked like. So far Glamour has been a reasonable revamp to the original not sure what percentage of the original Glamour has covered yet but the no Eric option seems to have not really damaged it much.

Yeah, in original, Eric was overheard by Max talking on the phone, to his real girl friend, or wife. The plain was to take the house from Ann, kick the family out, and either move in it with her, or sale it and go back to her. Original was never real clear on this plain of his, but soon after Max gets rid of Eric, so it went no further than that. Nothing about killing anyone. From Eric's wallet Max found out that Eric's real name was Victor, and he was wanted by some Mob guys are something to that effect. Seems Eric had done something very similar to the wrong lady, someone connected with these guys. So basically all Max had to do was make that phone call, and Eric swims with the fishes. Aleksey has a humane way of getting rid of Eric, so he rejected my idea of driving a railroad spike through his left eye till it pops out the back of his skull.
