Well if you find Eric annoying just play the original, i don't see how people can't comprehend that XD You can get rid of him pretty quickly there
In THIS game he's hardly present so far. I'm just waiting for the update when he will be gone for good.

Changelog for 0.06.5.00 extra? I only see changelog for 0.06.0.00.
changelog?
https://f95zone.to/threads/big-brother-another-story-v0-06-5-00-extra-aleksey90.43101/post-5790251

what is the difference between the extra and regular version?
what's new in this extra update?
Gallery and memoris
im how do you get the last opportunitie?
There is no "control" opportunity in the path of enmity with Eric
I have done it this way but it does not work.
The error comes again.
Sorry it didn't work. This was one of the methods we used in previous updates to open the game. Unfortunately, you will probably have to wait until the fix bug arrives.
>> I do not know if you have managed to open the game or not. <<<
I tried to put the save in the "Game -> Saves" files, but it doesn't work. I can't find the second location in "Users -> Appdata", I looked for "BigBrother" or "Aleksey90", and didn't find it. How can I make it works ?
the path is :
C:\Users\{your windows login name }\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\BB_AS
How do you use this? I'm always getting a bug error every time I try to open the load menu. I extracted all the files to the save file. What am I missing?
Copy the files to the updated game save folder as well as the following path.
C:\Users\{your windows login name }\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\BB_AS
After opening the game in the "Load" section, the first three saves slot are these save files.

Bit of a noob question but is there a gallery?
first install the extra patch from the op
then use this button:
1151456_1617826773818.png
This is going to sound like a stupid question, but how do read the web standards book that is in my inventory(bought it online from the laptop), i click on it and nothing happens. Never Mind i just had to wait till a certain time of day. I'm a idiot.
After Delivery. Use this button next to the laptop icon

Any chance for an updated android

Just for info about the "load savegame" error, maybe it helps to track down the error.
Cause: try to load a autosave or specific quicksave. That crashes the game. After that the game behaves like this:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

The savegames all work fine, it's just the selection screen that's bonkers.

Well ofcourse the patreons have a huge influence on the progress of a game, but a developer with a clear vision can keep all parties happy by simply making 2 paths(like the love -slave path of Four Elements game).
He could keep the Eric corruption-Mc cooperation that would lead to many interesting possibilities, and still make a No-Eric path with minimal effort.
He instead chose to follow the most profitable path(no Eric) short term, that led to him getting disinterested-burned out in the long run and abandoning the game(the patreon shakedown was a lame excuse, look at how many developers have bypassed it with a simple patch).

Giving the fans a voice is always a good marketing strategy, but becoming the bitch of the vocal minority is the worst one.
Everyone Lost in the end.

The most profitable path was 50k a month back then and the potential loss of patreons ranting like mad children where over 30k. So while that is bad news for the eric lovers back then. They were in no position to demand anything as almost 2 thirds of the entire income wanted him gone.

Yes but i understand the problem. He could have done both ways still and not offend either side while doing so as they would not interact with each other anymore. However this also would have meant that dev time would have increased and i am pretty sure the majority who demanded eric gone would have started a new rant all over again.

I do not understand where this ridiculous assumption comes from that DS got burned out by BB and abandoned the game? Honestly could you fill me in on that one? Is that because ppl who neither were patreons or on this forum when it happend just made that up or what?

DS tried to save BB and the bypass you described was explicitly forbidden by patreon. Why you think people started bypassing Patreon rules in the first place? BB was the first one to get striked by them as it was the biggest title of that genre.

They said that this game is either done or DS is done. There is no debate going on anymore. They told him very exactly how he can keep his patreon account. And that was by agreeing that he would never ever again host, share, or present anything called BB or his patreon account is gone. They gave him a time limit to fix said issues and thats when he introduced glamour to bypass the entire problem while also giving us 2 last updates on BB on a different website before pulling the plug on BB.

I still don't get why ppl think he abandoned that game out of free will. Back when it happend we all called BS on patreon for making such a stupid rule up because you still had hookers and pornstarts on patreon funding their way through life. Only to find out a few weeks later that patreon wants a more family friendly approach and banned them from their website as well.

I think people have not still come out of the Original BB Plot. This is Another Story. (I still hope it is)
Although the way it starts resembles the original, we do get to experience some extras in this version.

In the Original one, Eric was caught as a Con-Artist.
(while talking over the phone - Max eavesdrops and plans to take him out to save his family)

We;re not yet sure if it would come to that in this "Another Story" version.
For now, from the intro - we know Eric as..
  • Department Manager, who helped Ann on her first day of work.
  • Who even allocated a Driver to pick Ann from Home to work.
  • Ann's Boss reports to Eric.
  • Eric is a Busy man - has his own Driver.
  • Ann is promoted within a week as Eric's assistant, and gets higher salary.
  • Ann loves Eric and wants to get married!
Now, the Story takes a dive; when Eric brings in Punishment systems and suggesting that Max should go to Military Camp.
So, the initial decision Max has to take is based on - Avoiding Military Camp.

Right after that, Ann confesses that Eric proposed to her and they are getting married.
Now, one has to understand that Eric is bound to become as a future Step-Father? :WeSmart:

That's why people argue that this is NOT NTR. (I;m not gonna dig up the grave again to justify - let it be as it is)

Keep in mind, we have already established that Eric is "Step-Dad" to Max now.
So, he takes charge of the family and then teaches his Step-Children about Sex!

Based on the current Story, you can either become a Friend or start a War with Eric.
In Both paths, we still have not uncovered Eric's plot yet.
Con-Artist or not, Max tries to stop his future Step-Dad on his sexual endeavors with his Sisters. PERIOD

While we patiently wait for the Plot to uncover and give a better meaning of when this is going to hit the roof or punch a hole thru the roof.

I messed up the cigarette smoke opportunity, is it possible to restart it from editing the save? If so what do I change, please?

This isn't the place to argue about DS's practices, but you presented the question and i have to give the answer.
There's three possible scenarios that fit the narrative you are so perplexed about(the "ridiculous assumption").

1. DS gradually lost creative control of a game he cared about, due to his high paying patreons having completely different expectations from BB, and in order to not lose the insane income, he "sacrificed" his creativity thus gradually losing interest in it(and the patreon shakedown was the easy way out). So he started anew on another game he cared about and had full creative input. Glamour.

2. DS never really cared about BB, he always wanted to find a way to revive Glamour(that he preferred as a narrative), and used BB's success to build a team capable of remaking Glamour to the game we have today. At the first opportunity, he bailed on BB, and jumped to Glamour(with the insane online server scheme to squeeze that extra money and get rid of us pirates).
Ofcourse Glamour is a mess of its own, and all these BB fans kept pushing him to revive BB.
Which led to the new mess we have today(neither Glamour nor BB fans are happy with the result).

3. DS is a lazyass scam artist that loves milking his loyal fans out of every cent, and couldn't bear the thought of losing extra money from pirates, even when making 50k+ per month, so he revived Glamour with a system that would get rid of pirates(online save-server system/spyware). Ofcourse that backfired horribly, and he had to abandon it and live with the pirates, and whatever income Glamour is giving him today(plus adding BB in it for an extra income by its fans).

Bottom-line is, DS could continue and finish BB if he wanted today, and most of BB fans would follow him(along with their subscriptions). Why do u think BB-Another Story is alive and kicking? He could move the game to a different platform if Patreon hunted him, rename the game to something else, patch the content etc.
But he doesn't want to get(at least some) of that 50k income back? Does that make sense to you? Isn't it a contradiction?
On the other hand, it's easy to continue pushing 1-2 scenes(with a couple of renders each) and call it a huge update every month in Glamour, and pretend he's caring about both fanbases.

His team is putting the minimum effort for the maximum profit. Because the fans allow it.

Oh, come on, dude (Eric) wants to have a mini-harem consisting of a mother and daughters, boo. Seriously? Like no one would do the same? Another thing is that in the original game from DS Eric is a criminal hiding from the mafia. And he treats Anna not as his woman, but as a dumb submissive bitch. hence the whole negative. You can also see (if you squint) NTR in the development branch of Eric's blackmail (not finished, but it’s clear where everything is going), again in the original game from the DS. Here and now, I did not really notice anything that could be attributed to NTR tag. Corruption? - yes. NTR? - no.
P.S. Also negative about Eric is added by the fact that for Max it is a competitor in his plan "Fuck them all", and there has always been a negative attitude towards competitors in terms of sex. In general, it would be cool if Max and Eric divided the women among themselves: Anna for Eric, Lisa for Max, and Alice and Kira would have double penetration

You are under a very wrong assumption. Patreon doesn't give two shits about this game BB another story because it doesn't make 50k or more a month thats why it is flying under the radar. As do alot of small patreon projects who are not targeted by patreon guidelines.

DS showed us the email from patreon on his patreon post about telling them to quit BB or they pull the plug on them. So that negates your 3 points entirely. And no i did not save said image but you can go to the thread of BB and read it for yourself over there as ppl discussed this entire topic back then as it happend.

Patreon made clear that DS and BB will never happen again.
Glamour can be done because of many reasons. One of them was that at the beginning it was server sided. So unless you had a code you could not even play it. So Patreon can't prove or disprove what is happening inside this game.

But going by your entire argument i am certain of three things.

1. You never have been a patreon of BB so you assume alot without knowing literally anything about the topic you talking about.
2. You could go to the original BB thread and start reading and figure out that everything i am telling you is 100% Accurate and confirmed by patreons of said time as well as DS posts that got shared and people discussing the problems coming from patreon on said project. Instead you claim stuff that has nothing to do with reality.
3. You seem to not have been present or following the issues at hand once they developed in the BB thread nor on patreon and the exodus that occured while BB was shut down. DS lost basically most of his income over night.

So if we follow your assumption the DS team would be braindead stupid as they lost almost 40k in a month instantly on income once BB was declared dropped.

Sorry but i won't discuss this any further with you as i have better things to do as talking with someone who keeps making stuff up about soemthing i witnessed happening.
