Glamour has taken a few steps back storywise for reasons I'm not entirely sure about, though if I had to guess I would say that it's because DS still doesn't possess the testicles to stand up to his subs when they complain about the things he implements in his story.
For context: in 0.48 Alice immediately loses her position as Alpha in the household because Ann finds out about the cameras. The cameras get turned off(for now) and the game from this point is doing everything the player could do before Alice took charge—minus actual intercourse.
Basically, everyone whined about Max not being in charge(just like the original BB) and now DS is scrambling to undo everything to please the whiners because he has no backbone(again, just like the original BB).
Glamour is going to eventually die because the crybabies that sub to him will keep forcing him to stagnate the story by removing everything that isn't Max waving his schlong around. There was the potential when Alice took over that both her and Max could start working together to be in charge of the house. Imagine both A+M double-teaming Ann or Lisa. What's not to like about that?? But it got removed because people cried, and Glamour is back on it's path of stagnation.

Ok, personally I didn't like the direction it was going with Alice in charge. We can agree that Max getting everything he wants will lead to a poor storyline. I'm on the fence about what I think of this new turn of events. I like that there's finally a protagonist (risk of losing the house) in the VN but more can be done. As it is its a fresh start and we'll see what happens. Even if this comment is deleted as off topic there are lessons that can still be learnt because their basically two versions of the same story. Also the only person he can't have sex with is Ann and there was a scene where she explained why, it's basically a fault of all versions of BB in my opinion. In all versions Max's character is pretty swallow he does not do much to actually be the man of the house eg he never stepped up to pay bills or groceries in BB_AS Ann asked him in Glamour never happen, their are no actions in the house for him to do to establish his position no repairs, mowing lawn, cleaning gutters, taking them shopping (I think that was only in BB_OG), cooking etc. All he does is look for sex which is already well established in all versions, he's gonna or is getting alot of it already. For me I like the reset in Glamour (I think) he's still only looking for sex but a path to character development has opened. BB_AS is well in front in that aspect as he's projected as trying to save his family even though his character is still pretty swallow and does little besides looks for sex. Those are just my thoughts.

I would love for Max to grow as a character and be the man he thinks he is. In fact, when I played OG BB back at 0.2, that was where I thought the game would naturally progress. I was never a fan of how every character would acquiesce to his requests, almost as if he was a child asking for chocolate before dinner.
The war path of BB:AS is heading towards Max being dependable for the moment, at least with Ann. Here's hoping Max grows up down that path ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

+1 What this fan said.. also my thoughts are expressed in the Glamour thread.. can't repost them here as they're off-topic.. bottom line is.. the last update was a HUGE opportunity to actually bring Glamour back from the dead(with meaningful story and sex interactions between the characters we actually care about), but DS did an "Amber heard" on the bed.. so BBAS is our only hope of any decent progression in the BB universe..

That's the usual problem with about every game or novel out there. Some like Harem and proclaim every game to be dead if there is no harem in it. Others want Femdom and say that the game will be dead without it. Then we have the NTR faction who does just the same. Most have a problem to understand that their personal taste might not be what the majority is interested in. It shouldn't matter anyway. The storyteller should decide and no one else. Sadly a lot of devs are so afraid to lose the support that they keep following the loudest crowd (which keeps changing. Once people got what they want the opposite faction will start crying).
I thought those were from posts with a different title? Did he just change the names?

I agree with that and I believe that is not a problem with Aleksey, DS also has learnt that lesson. I am guilty myself of making suggestions to devs but mostly I'm ignored so I just go with the flow. If I can stomach some of the more intense changes I stay if I can't I leave.

Dude I did not realize how many of these games have Russian devs. Ended up on a Russian site a few weeks ago and there are alot of games that I've never seen before but their all in RussianOMG! We must stop this war, it’s affecting porn game development!
