I hoped you fixed this issue too or took an other hair than OOT's topmodel updo hair. I have issues with this. My DAZ crashs when I render with hair base applied, with out it works, see example.

When the hair base is applied it crashs 3 seconds after render start equal which character G3 or G8.

Edit: it looks like I have problems with more than one OOT's hair, not only the topmodel updo hair. Anybody else?
I hadn't any problems with this hair. Also nobody else complained about them.

I had DAZ constant crashes not too far ago. And it turned out that the reason was malfunctioning RAM module. You better check your hardware, and you shoud start with RAM modules. MemTest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic will do for this.

Thanks for your answer.
It only happens with some OOT hairs, resulting in this error:

I took Windows Memory Diagnostic & no faults were found. So the question why some OOT hairs crash my DAZ persists. :(
It's good that everything is fine with the RAM.

Is this happening when you load ready subset too?
You can post your log file there, maybe someone can understand from it why this happens.

For MOST people the problem is they have an outdated OOT file that ALL OOT hair products use. The outdated file was caused by an upgrade to the main DAZ Studio program. The "quick fix" is to download a CURRENT OOT hair product and install it into DAZ Studio. When it asks you to "Replace (the filename)?" say YES. The file is NOT stored in the hair product directory itself, but in one of the "common" file locations used by ALL OOT hair products. If you correct your problem using this method, there is no need to mess around with (disable) any "transmitted" settings in Daz Studio.

BIG NOTE: If you redownload and reinstall any OOT hair product that is STILL the OLD version of an OOT hair product (like possibly a very old OOT hair product uploaded here to the F95 Assets forum years ago...yes, some of the OOT hair products here on F95 ARE STILL the "old" versions), then install THAT download, it will REINSTALL the OLD file again and will start your problems all over again. Some of the old(er) OOT hair products were updated to contain the new file, but some WEREN'T also. So you need to get and install a version of an OOT hair that is either relatively new, OR an older OOT hair that HAS been updated with the new file. Once you install the "fixed" file, it will work with ALL your other OOT hair products.

The above "fix" was identified on the DAZ Studio main website forum over a year ago.

And just be aware that when you download "free" versions of DAZ products from someplace like F95 (and other places), the downloaded file might be from NUMEROUS years ago and there may be an updated version of it by now.

it will still crash)) until you disable it transmitted this is a problem at the level of DAZ specifically and they would have said that it was fixed in the latest DAZ update) files OOT Hairblending Hair from before 22 will crash but the file after 22 will not but you need to disable it transmitted I downloaded the file OOT Hairblending Hair from 24 and it still crashed during rendering until you disable it transmitted I attached the file from 23 and it will not crash with it

if yes is the previous version DAZ then you need to disable it, if the latest then they said that they fixed this problem

Thank you very much!
I replaced the file with yours and it works fine (with & without "Transmitted" disabled)! So I will keep it on a special place. :D

I'm glad I could help you) apparently it affects each hair differently, for me it doesn't Transmitted fly out but some apparently don't fly out) just in case I turn it off on all my hair OOT Transmitted
