Yes.
I don'w know why its author abandoned it because it was going great.
IMHO after years is still one of my favorite games.
Indeed it was too much grindy because it takes ages to move onward with story events.
I still have it in my offline archive and every now and then I replay it.

I've played and own a copy of the original game somewhere... it was fairly decent... grindy as all get out mind you, but decent... I enjoyed it as I tried to get into all of the girls' pants, but hey it's what we're here for am I right?
