Regarding Eric, I hate the guy, but I have to agree with some of the points about having him as your antagonist does make for a better gameplay/story experience.

focusing on mom story (past) with anonymous (dad) and coming to present with some vilan guy like eric ( less NTR and more revenge or toying with mc), ending with harem with sis and mom. Having side quests that are needed to progress with mom alone like going for shoots where mc directs and stuff but not like a porno but normal shoots with sis and , having a secret story for big sis( non sexual but a secret story like her having a agenda to solve their dad story , working with rebels) Mc finding it and making taking it further. then it linking to Eric , like pawn for some one else Big Evil guy.
