I actually though about playing it, but it appeared to focus only on NTR afterwards. So not really a continuation of the story then.
I would hazard a guess that most players got rid of Eric as soon as they could. So that one at best brought us into the same place as the original.
I was still considering to play the game just to check it out myself and walk down memory lane (and see any cool little improvements) and then saw the abandoned tag.
But yes, credit to that dev, he at least completed the original arc...and then abandoned it as well...Just why? At least the NTR fans got a kick out of that one.

The original was pretty much finished. It ended with the MC being able to have sex with all the LI. Yes, there were more potential, but DS could have slapped a completed tag on there and there would not have been a lot of complaints. Only outstanding bit was Lisa's vaginal cherry, but you have been fucking her in the ass for such a long time, that was a minor gripe.

Correct. Never once has the original story been finished in any way. Just a dozen or so remakes (which have also never been truly finished) that have mostly focused on one particular kink the various thief devs have. The original intent of BB will never be finished.
Truely DarkSilver's BigBrother/ Glamour is the one game with too many remakes. Welp, here we go again.

Put a stupid submissive femboy character named 'Eric' in the game. Make it mom/landlady character's new colleague from workplace (who needs a place to stay, poor boi).
Then change the roles, make mom/landlady having a secret femboy kink (cuz she have a supressed undiscovered domme thingie) Leave the player role of 'saving' Eric from dommy mommy's hands...or not. Which creates 2 paths, in one of them mommy doms poor Eric da boi, in other path Eric feels veeeeery indebted to protaganist cuz he saves his sorry ass (for later use lol) from mommy and prevents her discovering that new domme kink.
Believe me most of the players who played the original game simply hates Eric. On a 'Fuck Eric' level, so do that!

Yes, but that is a moneymaking mechanism in the game, like the Big Brother game show, not a way peep on your sisters. That was one of the missed opportunities in the original IMO.
But yes, the camaras in the original are done very early on in the game and adding more cameras is just a method of generating more revenue more quickly.
You mentioned that Eric was the reason, so I just provided the factual reasons. Use it or not. Makes nor difference to me.
Eric was Anne original BF, and Anna having sex with him was inevitable. He was always a sleazebag, and that why everyone hated him. He was a pretty good antagonist. He never had any sex with the sisters, it is implied that he might have tried with Alice, but as far as we know he only had sex with Anna with Kyra... (Kyra was always a slut, so really not that surprising)
I understand people that does not want to see this shit, but in BB, the war between Max and Alex was always central to the plot, until you could get rid of him. Hime having sex with Anne, is kind of assumed. I actually cannot remember if the MC ever saw him having sex with Anne. Except the BJ on the couch.
TLDR: You do you, but Eric was integral in BB. I understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but BB without Eric is not BB.

I wonder if you called it 'ultimate' because you ultimately left out Mac and Linux users? (grumble, grumble)
If you don't do the thing where you need to be at the right time and place to trigger an event, i'll check it out. All the other remakes and the original are such time-sinks.
But people find it inconvenient to play on Unity and many games on Unity are being remade on Ren'py by modders so that people can at least play for their own pleasure and not fight with a development platform with unfinished basic functions for such games. The attitude towards the game and the players is immediately obvious.
No Eric? Well, the plot and interest of the last game almost entirely depended on him, and those who shouted in the comments that they did not want to see him simply did not understand what they were asking for or deliberately pushed the game to the edge. Who would need it without him anyway? This is not the first attempt to make BB without Eric, and the result has long been known.
