Maybe that is why I like BB so much. My favorite versions are the ones where Eric isn't a factor at all or is quickly eliminated. I want a relatively easy game with no conflict. I'm not looking for a complex story, I want fantasy, lazy fantasy.
I was joking before but... dare I dream of making my own Big Brother?
The AI I'm using doesn't allow for nsfw. So that would be a challenge.

I really can't say it was one of the greatest. First the creator has to complete it to even compete. Two many games have come out that are far better.
I will say it was one of the greatest disappointments of all time because it had a major following only to be abandoned leaving everyone wanting more.
But because of this, no creator is going to successfully clone it to the expectations that everyone who played the original in its time has of what BB should be. I mean we already have the thread divided on the Eric issue. No matter what this creator does, it will always fall short.
The difference though is that most who want to see Eric added will stick around either way those who don't want Eric will dip as soon as he appears. So does the dev want max support or another failed copycat? There could be some alternative routes which means loads more work for the dev but even then a lot of Eric haters will just ignore and move on even if there's an option to save the fam from him. I didn't care for his character myself but honestly he didn't really add anything to the game or story for me. Max was a creepy perv. not a caring son/brother so the whole thing was just underwhelming. I do believe the dev is gonna have to decide if he's going to rewrite the overall story arc or just do the original story in a can repeat and have to wing the final part. Either way most of us have little faith in this title like it's cursed to loop a bunch of abandoned and incomplete reruns. I don't wish the dev any ill will there's just been so many failed attempts that it's not even entertaining or meme worthy anymore.

For me, it was either this or the one with "Dana" in the name that either was unfinished or it had a rushed ending just so the dev could put a big ol' "COMPLETE" stamp on it.
But I think this was one definitely the first sandbox/grindy game I played. Honestly with how much worse sandbox games got after that, it's one reason people may look back on this game fondly.
At the very least, don't laser focus on Eric like one of the other "remake" devs did. That was weird.
I also remember (from the original) liking the two sisters better than the mom and how I thought the mom looked gross. It'd be great if the model for the mom was updated.

Man, you said it. Very wierd Hopefully she gets replaced as a LI with new redhead girl with lots of freckles.
