I personally don't mind Eric IF the writing was done right for it considering Eric isn't really NTR unless he was introduced late game and Max already has the girls committed to him. I think Eric could really be another person to push corruption. Where I stand if hes in the game...cool, if hes kicked out of the game quickly or never even in it...cool. Either routes are fine as long as its good story writing.
Really sorry that happened to you. Seems like everyone else has gone the "landlady / tenant" route with options to change those labels later. I love that you are taking the game in new directions -- but on this particular topic, you might need to follow the pack and use the same workarounds everyone else is using.

Hopefully White gives us a little update soon. I know with the holidays some devs slow down. Just hope he is healthy and didn't lose too much drive with Patreon being closed. I know a lot of devs are struggling with these new restrictions etc

to be fair he knew the risks. i wouldnt even consider to try to publish a game on patreon. all the devas should abandon patreon imho. so patreon can see how far they can go. whitesilver should consider boosty and others i was trying to create my own site for creators after patreon started restrictions 2021/22 but substar was there.
As much as I would like to just blame Patreon though, the real problem from my understanding is the banks pushing the threats so even if a new site becomes popular, if the banks are against it. Still gonna have the same problems i'd imagine.

of course mastercard and visa are threatening but patreon is big they could just ignore them. and then what? they would need legal actions and fail because they abuse their monopol to force other companies to obey.
Well say Patreon sticks up to Mastercard and Visa and they aren't used on the platform anymore. Patreon would lose a lot more money vs just getting rid of some of the little devs who are making certain themed content. Many people wouldn't sub to content creators if they can't even use their card.

yeah but before that could happen patreon could take legal actions against the psp. imagine the shitstorm psp would also get.
