I... I'm confused. On one hand, you're asking for something specific. On the other, you're saying focus on his own story. This is a rollercoaster.

The original game, OG BB, was initially successful because of Eric's character and the tension he created. However, the developers cut his storyline short, making the game boring. I suggest that if they revisit Eric's story, they should develop his antagonist background. I feel the developers ruined the original story by abandoning it. I believe they should either finish the original storyline or, if rebooting, create a new story without Eric.

This part gets my vote. I straight up only played the original BB with a save where he was already gone. (Actually waiting to see where Eric is going with this before I even touch it.)

Now, you want an original BB remake? Make Max not a dumbass that only thinks with his dick. Make him actually give a damn about his family. The cameras? Say the family is in financial trouble and it's the only way to make enough money to not be homeless. That kind of thing.

Baam, instantly the best BB version by virtue of not needing to play a character that has a room temp IQ.

I remember that, hands down ending the Eric stuff ruined the game. The whole point of what made the game interesting was that conflict, its what separated BB from all the generic harem games that were around at the time. I wonder what way this dev will go with it, to be honest I still dont see why they would choose BB to make a game around when theres already 2 active remakes in production already.

No, Erick isn't a good antagonist; he's ridiculous. He's a poorly constructed NPC who acts like a stereotypical NTR character whose only goal is to "desecrate" girls, but nothing more. The "share" part was a cheap gimmick created by the new remakes to give more life to something that doesn't have any.

I don't give a damn if you're a die-hard fan of this thing, it's not a good "game", and like I said, if you're that excited about Erick, go play the 4 remakes that already exist and stop messing around.

ah no? if they wan't to remake BB just make a new storyline without the original BB storyline because it will become something new and fresh but if they remake as it is from the beginning it will make repeatable story without Eric its just plane boring at some point in my viewpoint because of what you played first got you hook up but got double cross scam thats the feeling I got .

There are games with NTR that are well made, Long Live the Princess for example, whether I am a fan of NTR or not is not important, here the detail was that this character is "part of the story" because literally there is no story , and it is seen that when you remove everything it falls to pieces, now my point was that if the dev of this game creates a real story for this version then Erick could simply be left over, something similar to what happens with Man of the House which is practically the same as BB but without NTR and with character development.

However, at the end of the day it doesn't matter, so far no version of BB has been finished and I doubt it ever will be, so what does it matter what I put into it?

I think it would be interesting to give Eric a lesbian sister. That way there could be competition between the three of them: MC, Eric and Erica. And the MC could try to seduce Erica much to Eric's annoyance. Or leave Eric out and replace him with an Erica who's intent on seducing the straight mum and Alice to the exclusion of the MC. Anyway, might be something interesting to explore with this idea.

that sounds much more interesting and a lot less threatening. Ann gets a girlfriend that slowly figures out what Max is doing with this Mom and sisters and confronts him about it. Maybe makes the same offer as Eric and agree to help each other.

well thats how the PV got hit because someone was nuisance in that story but there's no NTR but BAD ENDS only if that was BB at that time it could have hit something new thats why after Eric was cut off of the story it never clique again after that....

I was not there when the first version came out, but Erick was pretty much in on the first couple of days. It's literally just 2 or 3 days before eric joins the game. He was also in the game for a looong time. It took a lot of in game days to finally get rid of him. The idea that eric was just an afterthought is ludicrous. I would rather ask an expert in the game like a1fox3 then trust a hater like you.

Wrong on all accounts. Apart from it just being your opinion about him being a poor character, the reason that DS stopped the game was 100% due to Patreon bringing down the ban hammer. There was no alternative at the time (Like Subscribestar) and Patreon threatened to pull his funding if the game could in anyway be linked back to his Patreon profile. Since the game is in unity and incest was the central premise of the game is, DS felt that it was impossible to change the relationships and the game still making any logical sense. He had staff to pay so he had to bring out another product ASAP. Btw Mr Dots was in exactly the same boat and started developing Melody (While still continuing on Dating my daughter)

To DS credit, he brought out his final version, tying up all loose ends (no remaining cliffhangers), with no Patreon support for BB. (IMO he should have requested for a completed flag instead of it getting the abandoned tag)

yeah I remember that most of the unique games was DMD/STS(early stage)/DOD(Dream of Desire) and Superpowered this one was a lot of Grinding with many female BB was one of this game on the list of most discussion .. and some RPG game with NTR was popular at that time also it sucks after the pandemic was gone some dev stop their owned project I feel them because it was just there hobby at first before it become popular .. I'm honestly not looking forward to it, as all previous Big Brother remakes have been disappointing.
For those of you who are excited about this game anew, I hope this game is not abandoned or rebuilt.
