Is it really that rare for him to show up?

No it always happens twice a week at :
-2 am every tuesday
and
-2 am every thursday
How to always find Eric peeping at Alice.
Save the game at midnight when Alice takes a shower (and max is in his room).
step 1- Wait until 1 am when Alice goes to sleep.
step 2- Wait until 2 am. If Eric is peeping proceed to "catch" him. If he is not there:
load the save, repeat step 1, and move max to another room before repeating step 2. (usually Eric is peeping when Max is at his room or in the bathroom or at the pool, rarely when Max is at lounge and I never seen it happen when Max is at the terrace)

attention: Eric will stop peeping, when Max takes a photo and shows it to him.

Did you use a mode or loaded a mode? I have seen strange behavior when using modes and even if you unload them if you have saved the game with a mode loaded the modifications remain. If you want I can upload an unmoded save from day 9 or 10 (dress and swimsuit waiting to arrive) and proceed from there.

Please, I would appreciate very much a way to simply trigger the event, no matter if cheating like Alascato suggested, but how do I go about that? Could comeone kindly direct me in the right way?

save the game at 00:00 and try until he comes the door.Easy !

Here it happens always. I only have to load the save of 0 am and move max through each room (one at a time) at 1 am and wait 1 hour. If EriK does not peep I repeat until I find the correct room where max has to be for Erik to peep.

Sorry to have to report this but more than 1 thing is wrong in the save game.
Can not sleep with mom.
Lisa should be in her bathrobe not her everyday clothes.

The mod you are using cause or have cause this before and is why you should only if need to cheat money only.

This mod seems to be better at not causing this kind of problems but once again only cheat money to be on the safest thing to do.

With version 10 the spider event became more casual. Hiding a spider is not always triggered. When kate visit Alice for example or if Max does not go to sleep on 0 am.
But the funny thing is that then sometimes triggered randomly after 1-2 days that Max hides it.

Yes it does go on.
Lisa mood and Max authority must be maxed out for it to go on.

Plus you need private punishment of sisters to.

Yes you have to steal his wallet for both paths to get rid of Eric.
