It's pretty obvious that he is anxious of giving away information about his main project because of his perfectionism. It might actually be better for his own mental health sake to concentrate on something else.

what other mechanics? its porngame this is how quality goes down people push the devs to try beyond and instead of getting more scenes we get overloaded with random mechanics

I do appreciate the mechanics like hovering cursor to take a peek on hidden sex act thingy. Even the shadow silhouette movements or sound in the act are great features. But the fancy battle mechanics? Nope. I don't really care about it. I prefer he work more on sex scenes, pixel animations, models and maybe more diversity of sex positions.
Honestly smart of him, making a small game might give some experience to not get stuck in Black Rune later on (maybe to test some mechanics in a small scale), too many devs jump into making their 'dream game' that happens to be quite big most of the time and that ends up taking more than double the time that it should because they are pretty much learning while making the game, anyways we're probably not going to see this game in one or two years that's for sure.

I honestly doubt the small mechanics negatively impacted him. if anything I expect that the mechanics were a way to keep it fun for himself

Great news pastasakii is back!! There is hope we get to see Black Rune finished some day some year at least. Good to know he's still alive after years of radio silence.

This is the year of necromancy! Seriously i have seen various projects resurrected this year, from games like this to even mainstream fanfics.
