Good news, we finally have a release date for the Steam release: November 29!

I wonder how good the translation and uncensored version will be, tho.
Who wants to bet(hope) Toro plans to release RedDeadHood alongside the steam release of BS2?:illuminati:

If the evil trio are actually Alices, could it be that Prickett, Node and Mabel are their originals? Ah, I wonder if it's them who were also Carnacki, Florence Nightingale and Gerda? Same with everyone else? But what they really are? I keep wondering... wondering and wondering what Mary Sue's role in this.
At some point I guessed them to be succubi.
There are four succubi step sisters, four demonic princesses, four Alices.
Since Victoria ate one, now there are only three, or rather... three and a half? The one you see as Red or Purple depending on your state of mind? Or twins, regardless of that? Redhood and Poro. Prickett and Mary Ann... Rosemary! So much and many forms hidden behind Caterpillar...
*wink-wink*
The butter got crumbles in them, ah, I can see now... bread and butter!
But why did it happen is yet to be discovered, though I'd not be surprised for step sisters to be jealous and coup against Kitty.
...or is it just someone is both a character and mastermind? Which is still possible, due to the countless hints or either lies.
A whore who is connected to Prickett by five carats and 10000 souls, has a tattoo on her abdomen in BS1, symbolising Jabberwock and five dots... a pentagram? Baphomet then...? Simultaneously?! But Baphomet/Bathory is a mother... or granny? No? But... but... is there really a mother? Could it be Mary's denial is truthful as her wish to not fight against Grimm?
Hmm... why is she doing that then... Stupid Alice, who was mistaken for a White Rabbit's maid. Mary Ann.

Hmm... I guess it's Indeed hard for a human to understand a god. Pray, you have to go insane, from a human point of view. Only then you'll be ready to find Alice. Otherwise, she will be heartbroken again? Hmm...

*sigh*

I guess if you combine a story of Blue Bird and story of ugly guy who fell in love with "blind girl", (Frankenstein?) who actually was a monster, you'll understand that they were chosen by the author for a reason. Alice was always close, and her appearance (if not everything) is deceiving.

...but it's only a speculation based on lies and personal interpretation, which has as many holes as cheese can have. Do you like cheese?

But the truth is for you to discover, I'm done.
My pleasure was only in speculation and trying to look cool.
If my last theory is wrong, then I'm just an idiot, if not, then a cool idiot.
Let the time decide it...

Not every pair of three or four is related to the other pairs of three and four...
It's true the evil trio are the three Alices (daughter, sister, mother), and there were previous ones (it's been a while since I played, I forgot if the three of them had 'previous'es or if it was only one who didn't want to any longer and got replaced? Really don't remember...), but Prickett was the original Alice that's at the start of BS1 and that is in the Queensland video. The one the black rabbit/prayermaster betrayed. (Though, she's not the original original "real life" Alice Liddell, obviously.)
The demonic princesses are their own thing, presumably created by Mary Sue from real people; IIRC, we'll get a spin-off for them before BS3.
The succubi, too, are their own thing. Although I don't remember the distinction between BS1 Victoria and BS2, I do know BS1 Victoria was Mary Sue's attempt to recreate a fitting Victoria for her garden. For some reason, which I don't remember, I didn't just use the real one. It does make things somewhat sad because it means BS1 Victoria is really gone, but that's just the way it is...

Don't worry, I know what the story wants to look like and that most people just stick to that.
What I said is only a speculation, though I gave a reason why I think so.
There is a possibility that Alice was not the only role played by the trio, and the same trio are Prickett, Node and Mabel are actually succubi step sisters.
But it gives me an impression of the same picture where Leaf was bullied by three fairies, or The Crawling One, at times watching the trio mannequins from the side and sometimes interfering as Alice as well, which is weird, considering there is also crazy role overlapping. And these are the reasons why I can't decide which theory is real.
Hmm... Node imo being Prayer Master makes no sense as the one who summoned Mary Sue following my logic... even if Mary Sue and The Crawling One is the same person, with whom Node agreed to cooperate or rather Prayer Master summoned Mary Sue? Same thing.

Guess I went too far to be able to discuss my "hallucinations", eh? *sighs*

I can be bad at explaining myself, so perhaps good questions would help you to understand better why exactly I have opinion on certain points, for example "Why do you think that Node is a Prayer Master?". And BAM! You are redirected to one of my posts.

Victoria is an identical case to Miranda in that both, being the only two original heroines—that is, not from a fairy tale—Toro had to devise a way to bring her back, resulting in a new character who is technically her and at the same time not

It's just that it's even more obvious because Meryphilia is, for all intents and purposes, Miranda, while the original Victoria, apart from sharing an appearance and some of her features, is very different, whether in memories, personality, or powers.

Red Hood in BS1 mentioned that she and Miranda are too similar. Although it doesn't say much, author is just laughing at himself.

does the patch uncensor stuff or no?
Yes, though some of the h-scenes are zoomed in for some reason, probably a bug. (tried it with Leiden, it zoomed in towards her face so I can't see her domming Grimm)
Edit: Seems they've already fixed this

“Vile spirit, begone!”
“Do not fear… Carry the flame of hope and advance.”
“Please don’t lose, Mister Crow! I’m sure we’re almost there!”

I almost fell to my knees. Then I heard them—those voices…my companions called out to me. Something so miraculous, so powerful, so… blood-boiling.
The despair began to melt away. I felt “them” all gathering behind me: every soul we forged deep bonds with, every friend we met and lost. And in that moment I understood—something unyielding surged within me; the living strength of every bond pressing against my heart like a shield.

those techniques I learned along the way, I remember them now…
Proof I was never alone. They were with me all along.

Having these thoughts orin my head, I took a deep breath as a smile crept across my face, my sword steadied me as I rose to face one last obstacle in this pitiful wonderland, and on this collapsing stage. I gripping the hilt tight, and together with my faithful companions…
we stepped once more into the blinding white light.

Everyone is Grimm.
We will give everything to chase the Alice we cherish—somewhere, anywhere, inside or out.

A wholesome tale which sweeps the weary soul,
A mythical adventure searching for something buried deep in the heart,
A soul-rending odyssey into the shadowed abyss…

But no matter what beats you down,
no matter what wounds, whips, woes, weakens, or withers you,
no matter what kind of horrifying abyss stares back…

Never let go of that dim glimmer of hope.
Never surrender what you sincerely cherish.
Because something far shinier than gold, lies hidden beneath your tainted-black soul.

For you are Grimm.
I am Grimm.
And WE… ARE…Grimm.

We will give our chosen fairytale, our chosen lifepath the ending we bled for.

This is the way the world ends. This is the way the world begins again
