Will an update being dropped here with time? I don't fancy paying for unfinished games that may never reach completion. Especially because the version here has next to no content.

It will eventually, Casey releases a Patreon build first and uses the feedback to fix any bugs and issues.

As for the "game may never reach completion", sadly, CaseyKane previously started two other games and cancelled them. One being Morningstar and the other was Dungeon of Perils. You can find Morningstar here (or on Eka as well) as CaseyKane still released the last version. As for Dungeon of Perils, you can only find the videos of the different scenes (a F/frog - not the main character, a F/snake, a F/slug and a F/F - Anal).

Morningstar was born from an ambition that simply got too large in size and scope, and Casey didn't have the time/energy for something that was, in Casey's words, "lengthy with many different paths"

Blackthorn is aimed at being much more smaller in size and scope and more manageable.

Let's hope that it works out this time then! As said, I sense a lot of potention in this game.
