It didnt work for me if im not wrong ? I done what you said, but for the first part of the quest, i have nothing in the graveyard who the interaction bring something special, just tree, zombie corpse, graves, I talked to everyone, i talked about all the topics with them, so i dont know what to do

Apparently, if you first complete the quest pre-requisites and then take the quest, the quest won't work. I will try to fix this asap

Good artstyle and seems to have an actual story/gameplay content, will be back in future versions to check it out. Good luck dev.

Blackwood 0.2.1 Hotfix

• The player hitbox has been updated to include the entire body, not just a small area at the feet. This will make dodging attacks more challenging but makes hit detection more predictable.
• Guns are now separated into Manual and Automatic categories. Manual weapons require a click for each shot, while Automatic weapons will fire continuously as long as the trigger is held.
• Added tooltips that appear when hovering the mouse over inventory items.
• Reduced the experience gained from "The Hungry Choir" quest.
• Added an experience reward to the "Sinner's Saint" quest.
• Fixed a bug that caused "The Hungry Choir" quest to require 1 zombie kill instead of the intended 10.
• Fixed a bug that could cause the player to become stuck when leaving or entering the church.
• Fixed an issue where "The Sinner's Saint" quest would not complete if the player finished the objectives before accepting the quest from Jenkins.

Here's a Mac build attempt. Please, report if it works

Thanks for the build. I played with it a bit. Here are my experiences:
- The game launches at first blink, it's a good sign :)
- Generally said that the texts are not visible on main & other menus
- Pressing the I then the Esc key show a black screen, I guess texts would have been shown here too
- The conversation texts look like underlined
- The cursor is a big aim crosshair

Thanks for the build. I played with it a bit. Here are my experiences:

So I guess it's mostly playable? Kinda :unsure:

That's all I can do for now. Maybe in future I'll be able to rent a virtual Mac. I guess I have to remove Mac from the list of supported platforms, it's there by default when creating a post

Congrats on the game, good bones to it :) I think I might be just an idiot, but the dead man's wheels quest....where are the keys? Nvm I was an idiot and walked past it a dozen times.

Art style is fantastic, did you have a history in comic work?

Thank you! Although I'm not entirely satisfied with how sex scenes turn out, there will be a major overhaul in the next update

Comic background, no. But I've been drawing pixel art for years, I guess that's where the limited palette comes from :)

Moving MC around is very confusing since WASD is used instead of directional keys or left mouse click.

It is also the same with talking with other characters since E is used instead of ENTER, SPACE or left mouse click.

It will be nice if we are able to remap the above keys to others...

Item inventory got fatal bug...

After I killed the zombie boss and got its finger, I saved the game as SAVE1.

Later on I gave the finger to the witch and save the game to another save as SAVE2 but when I loaded SAVE1, the finger is missing as if it has been given to her somehow.

The same thing also happen when I get the book that I needed to return to the librarian (also in SAVE1). I returned the book to her and saved it to SAVE3. But when I loaded SAVE1, the book is also missing.

It seems that the item inventory is somehow shared by all different saves which is why it screws up.

It seems that quest list is also shared by different saves.

The current conversation might also not match the current quest list.

For example : Before I talk with the librarian, I saved as SAVE1.

Later on I talked with her and I saved as SAVE2.

But when I loaded SAVE1, even though the quest list told me to talk with her, I couldn't talk with her anymore. It's as if I have talked to her in SAVE1 even though I saved it before I talk with her.

Another example which is also related to item inventory bug :

Before I talked and gave the finger to the witch, I save as SAVE1.

Later on I gave the finger to her as SAVE3 but when I loaded SAVE1, the quest list told me to talk and give her the finger but the finger is missing from item inventory.

Blackwood Hotfix 0.22

• Resolved multiple issues that could cause the game to crash during loading
• Fixed the race condition that was causing some game states such as inventory to be shared between saves
• It's now possible to redefine keys
• Fixed player's hitbox getting stuck in some environmental obstacles
• Minor corrections to a few character portraits and sex scenes
• Fixed many dialogue typos

MC talked with the librarian and managed to get her opened the forbidden archive but when MC followed her and talked with her standing inside the forbidden archive, MC asked her again about 'Jezebel Smith' and the conversation cannot move forward even though she has agreed to MC's request previously.

I also remembered that MC can also give whiskey to the janitor and get key to unlock fuse room to use fuse box to turn off the light but now the fuse box is missing.

I wasn't able to replicate this exact bug, but I found a code issue that could potentially cause cutscenes in the game not to fire sometimes, while working perfectly in the editor

During the last testing, I was able to get from start to Emma's sex scene without issues, so hopefully the bug is resolved
