Weird, apparently you need to lose again against the Whale Gang boss but it didn't work. I managed to get there without getting into a single fight, so I was the same status as when you start the game and even then it was tough to lose because the old fuck can't hit for shit! And even when he hit me he gave small damage, like 80 damage instead of the 500 he gave on the first fight.
Once he finally managed to kill every single party member, the game took some money from me and I was on the inn again while the MC said that he just had a "terrible nightmare" that happens when all your party dies.
So how do I even progress? Do I need to collect a certain item or use a certain skill on the boss? Or I managed to find a bug and got double softlocked?

I said that after meeting with Lan, you can grind again. Sorry if I worded my reply poorly. My game is going fine as of right now, encountered bugs but no evade bugs, I just reload my save if I ever get softlocked. My advice is when your party is away from you in the story you must not click the grind dungeons or manage party at the inn because it causes bugs and softlocks (the dev of this game geez). You can do whatever you want if you're sure if the main mission finished it's mini arc or the entire party is regrouped. When you were imprisoned, Lan was away until you click the next mission I think? , during that time it will 100% cause a softlock or bug when you do anything besides the main mission, you can continue grinding when you regrouped with Lan as well as managing your party, you may continue that attitude of play on future main story missions.

you're supposed to kill that old guy during your 2nd encounter(you fight this guy twice during this mission first without the white-haired girl and second with her), you need to grind in order to beat this guy because he is tough (not for me cuz im overleveled). Maybe try reinstalling your game when you experience evade bugs? or maybe optimize your game and your system by lowering resolution and adding this game into your GPU software.

People seem to have some evade bugs for some reason, mine is working just fine, I hit them and they hit me most of the time.. My only advice and not a 100% fix is that you need to optimize the game and your computer for this game since this game is very buggy. what I did is I lowered the resolution of this game (still fullscreen) then since this game is pirated it is not added automatically into your GPU, adding this game manually to your GPU might enhance this game's performance. I think the evade bugs is caused by poor optimization since this game's combat is animated. I might be wrong though lmao

When I fought him I one shot one of the small fry and then he one shot me, got captured and put into the boat's prison.as? since the beginning of the game not even 1 enemy can hit 1 hit
