Like I said, I don't expect current or future LIs to be virgins and the game can even reference their previous experience if it's relevant to the story, but I don't understand why devs sometimes feel the need to show the LIs having sex with their previous partners in a game where they are intended to be a romance option.

And I get it, to some players more sex = better game, regardless of who it is.
But presumably the dev wants us to get immersed in the story and characters and for those of us that do, seeing a current or future LIs past sexual experience can be a problem.
Just like in real life my past girlfriends or wife had a sexual past before me, and I didn't care about it and didn't ask about it, but I certainly wouldn't want to watch a video of any of it.
(And I know, it isn't real life it's just pixels blah-blah-blah. But some players get immersed in good characters and story telling and I am one of them.)

And again, before someone responds that I expect LIs to all be virgins - I have NO problem with LIs having a sexual past, I just don't want to be shown any of it.
If it's important to the story then the point can be made through dialog.

And finally, I'm not telling the dev how to write their story - I will always want the dev to make the story they want to make.
I was just trying to determine what to expect from the story in deciding if I wanted to give it a try.

Maybe 500 year old virgins would work better for you? ;-) just kidding I know you don't need them to be virgin, but please never tell the MC what you like, it might imply you had sex before or pretend everything is your first time. BJ = 1st time, but deepthroat no problem. Anal, saved myself for you, but maybe she should take MCs anal virginity so you are satisfied as some virgins are involved..... Virgin Vampires my next game and as always, when we talk about virginity it only counts & matters when the characters remain virgin!

Scenes could use some more work, since they are basically just videos that are skipped the moment you click. It would be good to mix renders with videos and to add options during scenes (where to cum, position etc).

This is normally something i would check out, but sex scenes handled like this are an pretty much universal no for me.
I don't want to be too negative because i have zero experience with renpy and how to put together a scene, but sex scenes with no dialogue, and are videos that end as soon as you click are pretty worthless imo
the sex talk and dialogue during the scenes is what sets these VNs apart from just regular 3d porn videos you can find on other parts of the site
Without it i just don't see the point

The author has stated early on that it was "definitely planned" although no idea if the subsequent uproar from harem folks how they absolutely don't want girls who are shown to be sexually active with people other than MC, affected those plans in any way.
