OK, let's continue with this analogy. Suppose this future/current girlfriend still interacts with her exes on daily basis. Or even interacts with them at all. Would you prefer to know there's this sort of history between them, or rather remain oblivious and have no idea of the real nature of their relationship?

I'd say that knowing such things can be important for building a relationship in the future, because it puts people's behavior in what's potentially very different context, compared to how an ignorant person may perceive it.

Of course, your analogy makes sense; knowing about communication and their relationship is important, but why do I need to know about their past sexual relationships if you should be focusing on the present? If you're interested in their past sexual experiences, then you'll be trying to adapt to the relationship based on that information. The question remains whether such a relationship is even necessary. And, frankly, I haven't encountered such a situation, and everyone will react differently, so it's difficult to reliably answer how things will unfold. Honestly, after rereading several pages in this thread, I think it's time for us all to stop arguing, otherwise the whole thread will turn into pure negativity. We can argue endlessly, but in the end, everyone will stick to their own opinion. Let's see what Dev does next.

Well I maintain what I said after the original release. It would have been far more enjoyable if we had the choice to postpone the confirmation ritual for a while at least. It's frustrating to see the MC mention that going through with it is a choice on two different conversations, only to not really have a choice in the end

The only other aspect I find less positive is this creepy obsession with piercings. Like holy shit I just want to tear off those awful things every time I see them. And every fucking character has them. It's a bit too much.

Other than that it was a solid chapter 2. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

You forget that the game is still in its early stages and that the story isn't about a college student sleeping with the first girl he sees. Anyway, I'm waiting for you to prove your point about NTR (Netorare/cheating), because to be "cuckolded" you have to be in a romantic relationship.

Who is the character in the game that was presented who had more than one sex scene? Because the MC received two blowjobs and one sex scene. Honestly this thread over the last few days make me think about the people that say they can't start a romance with seeing a girl past cause she might be to slutty for them or whatever. That is honestly not something I think I can ever understand. Cause you are not giving them a chance to get to know them. It could turn out they change and aren't like that anymore when in a relationship with the MC.

I can understand not liking to see that stuff , / how it servers no purpose for story telling. As well if that is how their vampire culture is and that is a bit to much for some. Cause that is true it isn't for everyone that is more for open minded people. Probably why alot of the talks in this thread to me feels like people making are bigger deal out of it than it actually is. Cause I don't think I could ever understand it fully.

haha yeah that's where we differ I don't let ones past define my opinion or thoughts about them. Especially when they were young. I like to see who they are now or if they changed when they are with you. I used to judge characters base on some swallow details like their hair or the first few introductions. But when I gave them a chance they got way better and ended up being a favorite of mine. It's why I play every path now days unless I really dislike someone as I never know what surprises might be in store for me in the future.

Also helps im kind of too friendly. Where even if I didn't have an interest in someone due to them being a slut cause honestly I usually dislike it when LI are quick to get a sex scene tho it depends on the game and character. This game I don't mind it as much as others. id still want to at least be friends or have interactions with them unless they turn out to be a horrible person / someone I want nothing to do with

She even appoints his entourage, not the MC himself, choosing his assistants and so on. The MC is, so to speak, a newcomer to this role, and he's not particularly prepared, which is why many will try to manipulate him.

The game currently has around 1700 renders, and only 10 are flashbacks of past parties, a prologue telling the story of the vampires, and the backstory of two characters who don't even have a romantic context, but it's okay, the NTR fans who haven't played the game are spreading misinformation.

I usually don't care about NTR unless it's forced on me but in this case...I mean come on. All the criticism is valid. Every girl in this game is portrayed as a cheap cum dumpster. Not everyone is into that. I certainly am not. I don't like sluts or piercings. I wouldn't willingly touch a single female character in this game. My MC certainly won't.

Maybe that's why I don't mind the content. I'm not interested in any of the girls. Maybe in the future there will be a non-pierced non-slut decent looking girl the MC can bang and I'll be all over her. If not, at least there is a vampire story and interesting lore.

Only Dev knows the correct answer. But I would say they are quite similar, except for the hairstyle. The piercings, at least, are identical.
And as I already mentioned, it's possible that the same model was simply used, just slightly modified.

I totally get that. And I agree with you in the hopes the dev just makes the game they want to make. Whether it caters to mine or anyone else's tastes, I've learned that the end result is always better when the dev sticks to their vision.

All I'm saying is that...maybe this isn't the right game to pick a fight against the anti NTR crowd. They have plenty of ammunition in this case. This isn't a hill I'd be willing to die on

The game is genuinely good and has a lot of potential. I don’t think it’s straight-up NTR, but it does include elements that work much better for an NTR-style narrative than for a non-NTR one. That’s where a lot of the discomfort comes from.

Some people are taking this way too personally. In real life, I wouldn’t give a damn about meeting a random girl and fucking her with a buddy but this is a game. In a game, I want that control, I want my MC to be the only one involved.

I’m not expecting untouched virgins with no past. I understand that, for certain personalities and especially vampire culture it makes sense for characters to talk about parties, orgies, and wild experiences. That part doesn’t bother me by itself.

What does bother me in a non-NTR game is being forced to watch or relive those flashbacks. Even if the argument is “you need to already be in a relationship for it to be NTR,” this is still a game, and by the unwritten laws once a girl is flagged as a LI she is implicitly tied to the MC. From that point on, any sexual interaction she has with another character - direct, implied, or relived through flashbacks and explicit memories - is NTR.

Criticism like this doesn’t mean the game is bad. It just means the direction matters, and expectations matter.
