The game is genuinely good and has a lot of potential. I don’t think it’s straight-up NTR, but it does include elements that work much better for an NTR-style narrative than for a non-NTR one. That’s where a lot of the discomfort comes from.
Some people are taking this way too personally. In real life, I wouldn’t give a damn about meeting a random girl and fucking her with a buddy but this is a game. In a game, I want that control, I want my MC to be the only one involved.
I’m not expecting untouched virgins with no past. I understand that, for certain personalities and especially vampire culture it makes sense for characters to talk about parties, orgies, and wild experiences. That part doesn’t bother me by itself.
What does bother me in a non-NTR game is being forced to watch or relive those flashbacks. Even if the argument is “you need to already be in a relationship for it to be NTR,” this is still a game, and by the unwritten laws once a girl is flagged as a LI she is implicitly tied to the MC. From that point on, any sexual interaction she has with another character - direct, implied, or relived through flashbacks and explicit memories - is NTR.
Criticism like this doesn’t mean the game is bad. It just means the direction matters, and expectations matter.
