Sure thing. NSFW demo will be available on Steam next week:ok thanks gonna download from here
It's explained in one of the dialogs after encountering your first vampire that most of the facts you know about vampires are just myths, so most of the tricks you know from folklore don't work. While destroying a heart would kill a vampire, it's impossible to do with just a wooden stick because their flesh is too tough. How damn stupid are these characters? Doesn't even know what a vampire is and that you need damn wood to stab in the heart to kill it.
It should be ready today. The last few updates were always a couple of days late, and unfortunately, this one is no different. Can't wait for the new patreon update, should have been released yesterday (at least that was what they said by the previous release).
Thanks for the quick reply. OK but remember he would not even know this so if any of us would of saw this at worst we would of tried to find something wooden to stab it with while it's distracted with the girl... So in that aspect I think it should of been in that situation somehow even if it was is there anything that is wooden around here broom or anything? It's explained in one of the dialogs after encountering your first vampire that most of the facts you know about vampires are just myths, so most of the tricks you know from folklore don't work. We have Patreon. It's linked in the first post:so what are the plans for the game? why not open a patereon like the oher games?
You, as the player, know that it's a vampire, but the protagonist just got attacked and badly beaten. It's difficult to connect the dots in such a situation, let alone believe that it could be really a vampire. Besides that, he was instructed to run, so he did just that.OK but remember he would not even know this so if any of us would of saw this at worst we would of tried to find something wooden to stab it with while it's distracted with the girl... I second this motionAlso, I'm sure I'm not the first to suggest this but an option to rename the MC would be nice.
We'll eventually add an option to rename the protagonist, but it will be a janky solution that mutes all voice lines where the protagonist's name is used. However, it's low on our priority list, so don't expect it any time soon.I second this motion
You can get around this by having the NPCs actively avoid using someone's name, in normal conversation you don't typically use someone's name unless you are talking to multiple people, and are asking questions or making statements that apply only to that one person. Another option is to have people give the MC a nickname which they use rather than their real name, the final option is to have them voice the line but just leave out the name so if the line reads "Hey, come over here MC." you have the voice just say "Hey, come over here."We'll eventually add an option to rename the protagonist, but it will be a janky solution that mutes all voice lines where the protagonist's name is used. We only use it where it fits: when he is being introduced, when other characters talk about the MC, when it's an intimate moment, and so on. The nickname also wouldn't work because I have a hard time imagining his co-workers, his boss, or his neighbor calling him by his nickname without sounding weird. The protagonist isn't a gangster or a person in a position of power, so things like "V" or "Inquisitor" wouldn't work. You can get around this by having the NPCs actively avoid using someone's name, in normal conversation you don't typically use someone's name unless you are talking to multiple people, and are asking questions or making statements that apply only to that one person. Yeah, you make some very fair points. Although given the covert nature of the work, I could see all the team members referring to each other by callsigns, so that they don't give away each others secret identity by accidentally blurting out someone's real name over the comm during a crisis (when someone gets hurt, for example), it is something that needs to be practised so it becomes second nature. During intimate moments you can always use some generic term of endearment (such as lover or honey), not as intimate, but it is a solution to the specific problem you are having. Something to consider if you ever do another project, I can entirely see how rerecording wouldn't be an option. We only use it where it fits: when he is being introduced, when other characters talk about the MC, when it's an intimate moment, and so on. Also, rewriting a 15-hour-long script and rerecording lines to avoid using the name would take too much effort and money. That's why I can offer only the solution I mentioned before.
