I don't know if this is addressed by this "mechanical bug fix" but in 3.987, you could get stuck in the Casino after unmasking the 3rd suspect and Stalking them. If that person happened to be in the same room as the Club entrance, the arrow would flash red but you couldn't actually move into the new area; or anywhere else for that matter. I worked around the issue by making sure I always found my last suspect elsewhere, so the transition would occur normally.

For the future I'm pretty sure that the F5 debug button should have fixed that but in any case yes those are similar problems in the game's architecture. Z - Reborn I think this is solved in 3.99.
I don't know anything about Macs. You can't change the file extension or something? On my Windows machine I'm able to do it inside the RAR.Unfortunately, Mac download is a folder not an app, can't play with that.

The Presentation and Transition effect remind me of a flash gams Jumpscare, which it's unique enough.

Adding .app to the folder after uncompressing and doing my usual routine did the trick. Was just surprised cause it's the first time I had a folder instead of the app when I opened the RAR. I quote back the updated routine to make it work, again could be useful to others and should be linked somewhere in the OP.
Found the post, had to refresh it since version is outdated (expected) but also edited the last step of the workaround in the page linked, so to sum it up :

- Right-click the app and select the option to open a new terminal, you may have to enter the command cd .. to get outside of the app in the terminal.
- chmod -R 755 [applicationName] and don't forget to add .app at the end.
- Hold control key when right-click open to have the "Open" choice in the prompt (you may have to do it multiple times).
- Should be able to enjoy the game now

Didn't know about F5; useful to know. Would also be useful to have a description somewhere in-game of what the stats do. Some are obvious (time/energy/blood) but others less so. For example, I still have no idea what the double chevron on the top of the second column means.
Other quick question. In my 3.987 run, I found a blonde girl in Watson Hall on campus grounds; the building became available once Tea was acquired. She seems to have some relation to Mara but other than some talk options, nothing is available. I didn't have Mara with me when I found her since I only travel with her when I need her to lockpick a quest location.
So it this a bonus girl that was not properly locked down for the public release ? A future character that is not used yet (i.e. for after Mara is fully converted) ? Or some interaction that I missed because I didn't have Mara with me ?
Also, I could not do get Tea to travel with me at the start of Chap. 4: she was my initial guess as a helper to find the quest book, which made sense to me since she's an assistant librarian. Once I interacted with Brendan to actually get the book, she became available. I know Tea is optional but she seems to be a reasonable alternate method of getting library access so I think that should be added and/or fixed.

As for Téa, she was originally an option to help you in the library but it was a little buggy and I didn't think it was a good use of my time to fix when I knew there were other options, so, I just blocked it off for release.

Details please? When does it crash? OS? Version? By crash you mean the app closes?
windows 7 x64, a crash when loading the game, writes the program has stopped working Bloodshift.exe
First I'm hearing of it, though Windows 7 sounds kind of old. Could you try re-downloading and/or re-extracting?
Were you able to load an older version of this game or is this your first time?
