One day... there will be a game where the MC feminizes themselves, will be bisexual, have a normal sized cock or bigger and actually uses it, and not submit to every person in the game. Maybe even make others submit... that's not this game. But one day that game will come.
Hell, I'm down for the PC volunteering to be the village bicycle - so long as it's their damned decision... and they get their turn at the wheel, haha.
There can be plot reasons, factors pulling the story this way or that, sure, because a story and adventure can use those to give the journey direction and meaning. Could be a dare, could be an adventure, it could even be simply to pay the bills.
To its credit, the writing in this story is well written, mostly devoid of typos, and it is winding its way to its intended goal. Many of the moments or events do evoke a sense of feeling, which is mostly the downward spiral. A lack of tangible options so far, leading the story to be on rails, but so it goes. It's early yet, besides.
There's even a helpful disclaimer atop, right at the front citing certain unavoidable topics and themes that may not be everybodies cup of tea.
The thing that blows my mind (and quite a few other things) is why so many creative minds and writers tend to retread the same familiar ground and result. I have no issue with BBC or whatever bits are attached to whomever (big 'ol dicks can be plenty hot); but the semi constant raceplay, racism, demeaning and being under lock and key that come along for the ride are growing... tiresome. One or two characters being a foil makes sense, sure. But all of the cast sporting a particular pigment behaving exactly the same way is kind of obnoxious.
And to be fair, if isn't that, it's usually the domme that strips away the pc's identity and locks them up. Or both.
Even the writing here has the 'friends' being oblivious and selfish, the male characters predictably abusive, and the way to happiness for the protagonist is gradually accepting a very diminished, passive role in life and romance. And in so doing, they find contentment and a new meaning in life.
I'm not sure that's so much blossoming as it is being kept as an indoor houseplant.
Again, if that's your thing, aces! Good for you! Happiness comes in many different shapes and sizes for sure.
It'd just be refreshing to see some other options out there now and then.
And to be fair, there are a handful of games that include the option of the MC feminizing themselves, but they are rare and elusive unicorns (and even rarer the focus), especially when you add extra wishlist items such as:
Not under lock and key at all times. Free willy! Being wild and free comes with a whole new set of story opportunities and wardrobe malfunctions, besides.
For all the times these games tend to enjoy forcing you to click on clothes and shower constantly, they do little in the way of exploring or writing the narrative of rocking said outfits.
BBC that aren't attached to the worst written embodiment of character traits. Again, fine in particular. But can't at least some of them be human too? Or hell, just for shits and giggles, why not one of the BBC crew join in on the feminization as a rival or bestie?
Enjoying themselves, their bodies, and sex. The transition (haha) from the starting line to a canny, smoking hot sexbomb. Maybe even taking others along for the literal and proverbial ride.
And most importantly:
fun. It's a porn game, not (always) a misery simulator. Why should becoming feminine make somebody less, and not more? Does the PC get plowed into the pavement, or bone others in the bedsheets? The answer should almost certainly be: why not both?
When was the last time I've read a game or story under the premise of a bunch of dudebros:
Protagonist: "To afford college or just rent in general, I shall become a sexy, sexy bitch! Who is with me?"
Best friend: "I'm with you bro! I shall slay by your side!"
Protagonist: "Excellent! Our sluttery shall be legendary!"
Best friend: "I see no way this improvised drunken plan could possibly go awry!"
Protagonist: "None whatsoever! Barkeep, another round!"
