If by "new content" you mean the pigman route, it's translated. I don't know how to get those files, but I've been patiently (not-so-patiently cause I've been here each day) waiting for them to upload the official game files.

Are you saying you would have preferred a situation where corruption could have happened via some alternate route? Like organically after purposefully losing enough to the bugs in the village at first?

I agree with OP, it's weird that you can't enter that route unless you lose to the bandits even though you do get infected by parasites after losing to the bugs enough times
Yes. Exactly that. When you lose to the bandits, the corruption route starts because they infect you with the parasite. You can literally do that in the village by losing to the worms. So why can't you start the corruption route without losing to the bandits? It makes no sense.
I feel like its the sort of thing that could have been narratively fixed by, if you're infected enough already from pre-bandit shenanigans, then the bands just one shot you with more worms, you immediately fall, and then they alter the scene after text to ack the worm infestitation, and "its only a matter of time until she starts to understand" etc. Would have been good for continuity, I agree.
What route without any bandit interactions would you have preferred? That she just starts getting the heartbeat mechanic in the town, runs off to give birth to parasites, armor gets stolen at that point?
Pretty much. I wouldn't even need to see her armor stolen. That's a bonus. Hell, from what I understand, she shouldn't need to give birth to parasites, because that only happens when you get to 100% brainwashed. And by then, you got so many parasites inside you, even the other chick claims that most normal females lose it with only a few parasites. And ignoring what I want, there are actual signs in the game that something like that was thought about. Say you defeat the bandits, but then lose to a blowjob monster. She'll leave the building and hesitate, like she's starting down the route.
I hear you, but tbf, this game scratched such a hard to get itch in so many ways, I'm still extremely grateful it exists. I openly hope that it will start a new genre of corruption game that follows the same themes.
Also, a non MTL translation of this would be fire af.
