I'm at the sorority selection point now while playing as a shy/nerdy virgin with a decent family backround and I find it weird how DZ doesn't want to take my character in after all those bits with DZ's girl Christen displaying so much interest in my character and the sorority being presented as one that accepts "girls that wanted to be in sororities but were relegated out but wouldn't take the L".

At first I selected ADP and got accepted, but was curious to see what happens if I choose DZ instead. Mayyybe I'm misunderstanding what DZ is supposed to be, but I think their description could use some flaws or expectations instead of being limited to pointing out how good and accepting they are. The way Hilary acted when DZ was brought up made me think they're a "loser" sorority (guided by rare leaders like Christen), so I was surprised to see them rejecting my character.

Forgive me using Harry Potter terms, but after reading the descrptions my impression was that DZ is very much like Hufflepuff. A very tolerant community that lacks elements which would usually make them the preferred choice for tryhards or rebels. I guess KKG could be that since it was described as "the back-up house for the girls that didn't get into Tri Delt, Chi O, Kappa Delta" , but that wouldn't be consistent with Lyndsey's "derisive comments about the other potential pledges".

I was looking for something closest to Ravenclaw and the "reserved and restrained" part of ADP's description made them my preffered choice. I considered DDD but didn't put them in my top 3 because of the trophy wife emphasis. My top three in this context were DZ, ADP and XO (I'm not sure about the last one, though, I just had to pick something as third, I think I should have chosen DDD instead).

And the best part is that ADP kicked my character out immediately, apparently because my character was too much like DZ and the GDI idiots, even though I wasn't accepted into DZ in the first place.

Further during the off-content cycle of 0.6, I'll be going back and putting in a portion in the Prologue if Claire happens to become pregnant during that portion of the game, due to player request and feedback.

I never got that option despite picking both "...present" and "loving and attentive" in my playthroughs. Maybe you need to sprinkle in some uhh questionable behaviour to your origin story to get that.

Probably just an overlook. Writing those scenes has to be done in a way that accommodates all choices so Devs will sometimes forget one possibility or another. Anyone would, really. I've noticed a few myself: a dad with the ability to fuck still gives Claire a bad first time; a mean dad is still gentle with her and apologizes profusely for cumming inside even if he tricked Claire's mom; even if they're fucking Claire still complains if Jake invades her room and even a mean Jake will feel sorry for doing it...
This game has a lot of variables and is extremely ambitious, so I believe we'll keep seeing and pointing out those contradictions for years to come, or the game will get downsized. I just hope the Dev will listen and fix the issues we detect or that downsizing won't remove the things we find fun about it.

What’s your background and your experience with Blue Swallow?

“(I’ve) been working almost 5 years as a concept artist for heroes and their skins for a game called Mobile Legends eventually quitting due to racism and sometimes unachievable deadlines. After that it was mostly small time freelance work like comics, ui design, and illustrations for various companies. Eventually moving to adult illustrations for some minor celebrities before focusing on adult indie games.” So far the illustrations look sexayyyy.

“My favorite feature so far is the multiple choices and routes the player can take. It encourages people to experiment yielding lots of replayability.” Sexperiment with our choices and you're sure to find your big yield.

• Some touch-ups and iteration on the Dossier – no comments?
• Iterating on some UX/UI for the player: blocked routes and letting you know why – not Risky enough? Not Stable enough?

Deep Features Highlights - Fertility and Arousal
Fertility System: Sex without consequences is a thing of the past with this spy.

• Goal - is a system that would monitor the main character's fertility behind the curtain of the game and check against the risk of certain encounters, depending on precautions taken. Fertile Myrtle players best watch out.
• The system will track the fertility cycle when chances for conception are higher without protection done by Claire i.e. pills, condoms, or IUDs. No glove, No Love. Capiche!
• The next off-content cycle will put some color on a Claire that happens to get pregnant during the Prologue, but in-game there won’t be discrete pregnancy / birth cycles – but there are certain aspects of the story that will change Claire’s options if she is with child. Fair warning: not likely for the better. May be your kink, but your kink may get Claire and the world killed. How far and how much will you push that limit? Bright side…No need for protection. Sex Romp engaged.

Arousal System: If your mark is aroused, they’ll spill more than just beans.

• Goal - is a system that has different kinks and fetishes that allow the spy to utilize many tools in her tool belt to successfully extract the information. By information we mean the mark’s orgasm.
• Implementation could be a tooltip that hints at the mark’s arousal and kinks. The dossier on that individual might provide some clues.
• This system will also affect Claire. If she’s kinked up, worked up, she may have trouble resisting an approach or keeping her wits about her. On the converse, without arousal there may be things that she may have a hard time doing – or maybe unable to do entirely! Can you really think when the blood rushes south…I think not.
• Utilize the skills of arousal to win the day…

So far the plans for pregnancy content are a bit ambiguous, Dev, but this is a confirmation that pregnancy will not be an automatic bad end even when we get into the game proper, right? There will be one instance of a HS pregnancy that Claire would experience, reap the negative repercussions from, and then resume the main game loop.

Once you arrive in Act I, fertility will be a thing and should Claire become pregnant, that will affect her ability to do the job she has come to Manila to do -- potentially with a bad end, game over. There will not be a path where Claire gets pregnant, has a child, etc etc while the game keeps going on.

Read: she can get knocked up, but she will not be able to repeatedly have kids during the game. One birth will take longer than the allotted timeframe of the main game. Should she not succeed before that point, Game Over.

I’m guessing the four jobs will be something like the cliques. One nerdy, one physical, one plain and one popular. So maybe TA, Dancer, Waitress, and Model.

I’m not sure if there is a dancer route that maybe has a stripper option based on stats. But there is always that joke about how every stripper is only doing it to put herself through school.

Model seems like something that has to be there as a follow up to the high school modeling path.

Waitress just is the classic young person’s job. Maybe it has a prude and easy branching path

TA or tutor also seem like a reasonable choice. Especially for Claire’s that are academic.

I’m not sure about dancer since dance is used on the cheerleading path.

These are very good guesses.

I don't want to demand that this game, of all things, breaks the somewhat boring tradition of standard jobs. The fact is that almost all of the games on this site depict the same jobs with the same stereotypical progressions of the rising ladder of corruption.
Dancer - stripper - private dances - prostitution.
Waitress - harassment - exhibitionism - prostitution (and one is happy about the rather rare concept of topless service or even naked)
Model - Underwear / Bikini - Glamor - Nude - Porn - Prostitution
Tutoring does not happen that often and does not seem that cliché-laden.
In general some kind of office work might offer a lot of opportunities to play different characters, maybe working for a TV station (trainee or student gets the opportunity to record her own contributions as a reporter - for example for street surveys? Making a local Fanbase?). Maybe someone could find a good way to tell an interesting story about influencing or another stereotype job - the camgirl?


So far the writing in this game seems really good to me, so I would love to see something different happening here than in most games. Of course, if they keep doing great it does not really matter which jobs they pick.

I just realized that this game kind of reminds me of a really old game someone showed me once called Alter Ego. That one wasn’t an adult game at all. You start as a baby and live your life.

after you finish this game, it would be really great if you could take the ideas and engine you built here and tell more stories with it. There is something very compelling about being able to just be a person growing up and seeing what impact the choices have.
