Yes, that's usually how work happens. You go in with a plan of how things should go. Then things you don't expect happen and you adjust. Just like what we all do at our jobs.no one forced tori to do anything, he did this to himself with non-stop scope creep.

the scope of the remake has crept from "not all scenes need work" to "literally reworking every CG in the game"
we didn't make him do that. in fact, we strongly recommended against it, repeatedly!
The point is that due to the delays there were so many complaints that he feels obligated to fix every small thing (that most wont even notice) before releasing. So I was saying if there weren't so many people up in arms about it he'd have probably released already and then fixed the small stuff like he usually does. Based on the teasers and previous messages in discord he already had everything done but now it looks like he's tweaking some of the overall narrative things and adding to some of the old stuff because he feels it needs to be perfect before release due to all the pressure.
