Revamped the graphics to match the quality of the latest updates, and lightly reworked and shifted the character progression. Krystal is lightly reworked, in the original, she gave the MC a BJ in the bathroom early on, and in the rework her progression is slowed a bit, and she just grinds against the MC in the bathroom. The author was worried about her appearing too slutty from the get go (something I find silly, but to each their own).

Actually a good rework at an appropriate time. Game hadn't got too far along, and it was contained to just episode 1, where the graphics weren't quite as good as the later scenes. I totally get this from a dev perspective. You release episode 1 of the project, it gets rolling, and your skills improve, but new players first experience of your game will be your now lower quality work. Reworking an early chapter to make it shine and hook in players is a sensible decision. Reworking a whole game on the other hand, particularly if there is already a ton of content... usually doomed.
Oh. I saw the dates, and I did start playing after the Chapter 1 remake. More than one year later. Hahaha
But yeah, I have dropped games when they're too ugly, so a game that is good looking on recent chapters and not on early ones could be vary bad indeed...

Has there ever been a game that disproves your theory? I certainly can't think of an example off the top of my head.

One where a game did a significant remake/rehash/whatever and came out unscathed and stronger for it later?
Bright Past (you'll know what I mean if you ever played the original QSP "Bright Future")

It will never be worth the wait, at least not the opinion of majority of people. Better question would simply be is the update good and if it would be similar quality, but on faster time next update would community like it. I don't like the part about "That will ultimately shape whatever happens after" because we all know there will be a lot of negativity. And then what, give up? Change nickname and make new game and try to start over? If this was the lowest point of this project and update is indeed good despite delay it can go nowhere but up. Redemption arc would be much more respectable than abandoning this game. Hoping for the best, but my expectations have been withered.

That's very dumb. He decided to remake the game despite no one wanting for him to do so, and now he says the community will have weight on the future of the game, knowing full well that the reception will be (actually, already is) poor.

This looks like he is already planning to put the blame of the game demise on the players, saying that because of all the negativity he lost his drive to make the game or other bullshit like this.

Hi Everyone!

After reading through a lot of the messages here, I’m honestly confused. There seems to be a lot of negativity towards this project, mostly centered around delays in content. Is that really the main issue? Because I haven’t seen complaints about the content itself—just frustration over the delays. Like all of us, I understand the desire for more content, but delays happen.

Instead of exploring other games you might want to support and offer constructive feedback, some of you are coming here daily to criticize a person who’s trying to build something for themselves—something that, if successful, could allow them to dedicate more time to this project, potentially full-time, rather than being stuck in a 9-to-5 job like many of us.

It honestly blows my mind that some feel entitled to criticize developers when they have no idea what goes into the development process, especially when it’s just one person working on this. And especially in the adult game industry, where developers often learn along the way, as Torimiata made clear from the start.

So, again, is anyone forcing you to support this project financially? Is that why you feel betrayed? The developer even paused Patreon payments—what else do you expect him to do? If he takes a break, people will say, "Of course, he had to do that to avoid being labeled a scammer." If he doesn’t, people accuse him of continuing to take money while not delivering. And if, due to all this pressure, he eventually abandons the project—something that’s not his full-time job yet—then people will say, "Of course, he abandoned it. He scammed us."

But how exactly is he scamming anyone? No one is obligated to support this project, and once the new content is released, it’s available for free here within minutes. Do you apply that same standard to every other game you play? Do you expect Sony to give you free, early access to new content for God of War every month? and If not they are scamming you?, why is this any different? (By the way, there are thousands of developers with unlimited budgets working on projects like that.)

So, to sum up: I think we could all benefit from taking a step back, relaxing, and enjoying other games in the meantime. I know we’re all disappointed by the delays—we all liked what’s been released so far and we're excited for more—but the content is still coming. We’ll get more to enjoy, and we’ll have another chance to actively support this project with money or, at the very least, constructive feedback (especially since 90% of us are enjoying the content for free).

It’s also in all of our best interests for the developer to stay active and engaged with the community. Let’s stop alienating people just because we’re feeling frustrated or upset. Ranting on forums won’t make things better.

I hope everyone has a great end of the year, with more games to enjoy and more people willing to become developers and bring our fantasies to life in this genre we all love!

It more like right now he try his best to blame on community more instead of try to release his remaster haha, and if game abandon it is because of community too, not because he is always lying lol.

darthfran90 must be new here, he can't read between the lines on these types of PR updates yet. let me translate for you: the dev knows this remaster is going to be received poorly, and he is mustering his army of simps to defend him when he abandons the project shortly after
This is the kind of attitude I’m talking about. Are you just here to criticize everyone and act like your destructive feedback is the only one that matters? What you're saying doesn't add anything constructive. Feel free to reread what I said. I wouldn’t be shocked if the game ends up abandoned, but I’m guessing you won’t take responsibility for your role in that, right? Because, in a way, it would feel like a win for you and your negative attitude.
You’re not really against delays or game developers — you’re just against people trying to make something with their time, which doesn’t cost you anything, either financially or personally.
Maybe I’m wrong, though, and f95 hired you to be their "anti-simp" enforcer, here to put down anyone who supports a project in a positive, constructive way, that seems to go against why we even have this community in place. Cant wait to see what game you are developing hangmansjoke !

this dev went through multiple cycles of teasing an upcoming release, getting people to join the patreon, only to rug-pull and then treat the community like they were insane for getting excited about the release. he's done it so many times that this thread is now almost entirely dedicated to shitting on the game. if you think that's MY fault instead of the dev's for totally mismanaging his game's development and communication, i don't really give a shit

looks like we're not gonna get a real (you know what I mean by real) ayumi x terrace scene until next year at the earliest.
Not sure what gave you that impression but that's not the plan at all. There's a set amount of days for the vacation, and the story is already on day 4 in the evening/late night. We're making progress, just be patient :coffee:
I made that first post way back in May of this year. I was mostly being hyperbolic and melodramatic, but here we are, practically in 2025 with nothing to show for it... how crazy is that?

Even crazier is how Tori used to be relatively active on here, but he's just completely retreated into his discord echo chamber hidey-hole because he knows how much of a shit show this has all become.

I feel like you're a guy entering a conversation midway through with extremely strong feelings on that conversation.

If this game had plodded along this pace all along, it'd be something else. But where most of peoples' strong feelings come from is the production was a stepwise function - for a few months it was an up-and-coming game on the rise, with players eagerly anticipating each new update and having lively conversation about the game.

Out of the blue, everything seemed to change over a few weeks. What was announced as a regular new update (and eagerly anticipated) was delayed. No biggy, such is the case with a lot of games. But then it was delayed again. And again. And again. Then after several delays, an announcement came that he was remaking the game. But it would be improved, and players should expect that soon. It was delayed. Again. And again. And here were at at this current point in time.
