Hey everyone!
First off - Happy early Halloween! To celebrate the spookiest day of the year, our favorite trickster Ari has all the attention. Because let's be honest, who better to embody the Halloween spirit than her?
Despite some recent chaos in my personal life (flights, commitments, the usual adulting stuff), these past two weeks have been surprisingly productive (even if my Discord presence has been ghostly... I'll be catching up on DMs soon!).
Key Scenes Update
Progress: 3 out of the remaining 6 key scenes are done! These were pretty complex - some scenes are fully reimagined with multiple layers for escalation - so it took a bit of time to get them just right. This batch alone added
around 30 new CGs (including variations, of course).
Path System Recap
I’ve gotten a few questions about the path system lately, so here’s a quick recap for anyone wondering about the current setup:
Some of you veterans will remember the early systems - NTS points(!!), choice mechanics, etc. The
two-path system (introduced a bit roughly in 0.5.2) is what the game should have had from the start, and with the remaster, it’s integrated right from the start.
Act One centers around finding out if you lean more toward a
dom or
sub role, reflected in Ayumi’s character growth and the player’s choices.
Act Two... well, I’ll keep that a surprise for now.
I know the wait has been long (trust me, I feel it too, it’s surreal we’re so close to November), but seeing these scenes come together makes me believe the extra time will pay off long-term as the story feels more solid and the characters more fleshed out.
