As far as I have understand it, the lesbian stuff is removed. I have not started up this remake yet, so I cannot confirm it. It would be a shame though, because I would love to have some bisexual stuff in this VN. Doing stuff with another girl is just as Netorase as doing it with another guy in my humble opinion. And to be real - It spice things up a bit if Ayumi has hot feelings for another woman too. Just imagine the Netorase situation that Ayumi is enjoying herself with a guy and a woman at the same time. That would be hot!

A remake that no one asked for is also removing content? How surprising!
I really wished this game would turn out alright, but I have no hope up for that anymore.
I'll just wait until there's more content to try, since from what I've seen this release is really short.

Realy love this remake. To tell the truth my expectations were not good because most of the devs dropping or messing their game at this point. Whell defenitly going to buy this if it goes to steam. But for now guess will wait for another year.

the pre-remaster version of this game had 4 chapters. the "preview" remaster that was released this week only contains the FIRST chapter of those 4 chapters.

so no, we are only 1/4th of the way through the story. although the dev makes it sound like the remaining parts of the remaster diverge from the old timeline pretty heavily. what was released so far sticks very close to the original version with some minor changes.

the dev had repeatedly promised that he would not start charging for updates until the remaster was released, but now is going back on his word and charging for the rest of the remaster, even though many of his supporters paid for months without any releases and with constant lies about the state of progress.

I liked the new update! The art is much better now in my opinion, though Terrace's head still doesn't seem to fit the rest of his body (haha). Story-wise it's not too different yet, but the few changes have been positive and bring the story in a more interesting direction. I hope we won't have to wait as long for the rest!

The remaster/remake looked better than the original, BUT I still can't come to my senses that in 8 months this is all the content that we received. I hope that every two weeks there will be a big update, if not, then you can not follow this game at all for a year or a year and a half. Maybe chapter 2/4 will be released during this time .

That was the point I made some pages ago, does it look nice? (excluding those weird anomalies in the images as they move) yes, but with so much effort put into this, development time will only slow down, there was no reason for this, game already looked nice. Dev clearly lost interest in this project and dragged entire remaster development lazily. Or he fully remastered up to v5 and decided to release batches every 2 weeks to use f95 promotional system. That would be funny considering he expressed dislike for this site.
So we will see... For game to appear in "latest games" update has to have significant content and have window of 2 weeks.
If he starts releasing every 2 weeks content with lots of content considering how slow his developing has been, that means he's holding premade content. That would be extra scummy towards his supporters who paid money entire 8 months and received nothing.

I don't anticipate a two-month delay or anything remotely similar, it's just not gonna happen in July, but I'm working on getting a clearer timeline soon so I can do the typical 'countdown' post. It's not all scenes that need work.

Believe me, no one wants this update out more than I do. I'm aware of the time since the last release and how delays can affect engagement.

I'm not claiming to create high art here but I want to put out something that I would personally enjoy and hopefully just a tiny bit refreshing in the genre. This sometimes means exploring ideas that don't always pan out, leading to delays.

Completely agree with these two hypotheses. Time will tell, but my money's on the first - if anyone is taking a cold hard look at what's been done - say you were a manager evaluating an employees work; I see the current remaster chapter as something a capable ai developer could do in less than a week's work or <40 hrs. There's not a ton of deviation in dialogue, and the base flow is already there.

I'd put better than 2:1 odds on not seeing regular updates every 2 weeks for the next 3 cycles.

@ tori if he reads these - you STILL kept a ludicious amount of hard pauses in, this tells me exactly the type of real world personality we're talking about here. I'd definitely soften or omit much of my criticism if I didn't think the dev we're talking about was so pompous in reality.

He already proved to be dishonest dev telling people that he sketches and draws his art himself and it takes 8 hours for each CG.
And some people believe that. It is a straight up lie.

He has said older methods would sometime take 40 hours for a single picture. And new method is an improvement that takes only 8 hours for a single CG.
Yet somehow in 6 or so months he released version 1 to version 5, including writing new story, and with such faster workflow he couldn't even release full remaster version 1 in 8 months.
And he's not going to address that because I have ss him saying all that nonsense.
Seriously, the more you dig, the more you realize how much full of bullcrap tori is.

You're slow whatever... But why start making things up and lie? Anyone who touched ai image generation knows that's a lie. Your art is not hand drawn or even photoshop edited (except for noise filter and vibrance/saturation) because it is full of AI inconsistency/artifacts.

Just stop lying.

P.S did some stable diffusion in half an hour testing new style. I honestly have no idea what dev doing 8 hours per 1 image. I still don't see the remaster. I only see a lousy image.

Clearly, I'm not a developer and was just experimenting to see what works. Honestly, I didn't put in that much effort since I could have guided the model more precisely by providing a detailed description of Ayumi's hairstyle etc. But do these seem close enough? I am not sure why there would be such large amounts of pointless hate otherwise, knowing that the developer regularly visits this thread. If you don't like the developer and the game - that's okay, you do you. But don't ruin this for those of us that actually do want the game to continue.
