Yeah it's crazy the same guys who say the game is overrated or clearly don't like the dev are for some reason the most active here on the thread. And yes nobody was happy how Tori handle the remaster but at some point you should just move on to other games you like.
WVM telling update is around the corner for 10 months.
Ecchi Sensei dev telling people he's working hard after 4 years of releasing nothing.
Tell Tori to stop lying and misleading people to avoid people talking about him lying and misleading people. Simple.

is a recurring theme in f95 forums to shit on the developers making good content. Same for avakiss in our red string, developer of corrupted hearts and awam. The latter two I can still understand but Avakiss is shat on for such dumb reasons like oh too much path and porn as if the unlock gallery button takes a 200 iq brain to use.
The dev has been super dishonest with his paying customers about his progress.
He has delivered nothing in about half a year. (The latest update is just a remake of chapter 1 of the original game)
People are free to spend their money on whatever they want.
People supporting this dev - at this point - are just sending him free money. I wouldn't do it - but they are free to do whatever they want with their expendable income. I'm kind of jealous actually. Maybe I'll make 50 AI renders to get a stipend of thousands of dollars a month fromsuckers, er supporters.
At this point, him starting to charge customers again - before the remaster is even caught up to the "end" of the original game is outright scamming people. Might be time to report him to Patreon as a scammer.
And one final thought for all of you defenders of the dev crying that if we are mean to him he will stop producing the game.

How much hate is necessary and how much hate is unnecessary? Even to me it's such a complicated question. It's not like we're dealing with multiple developers and a studio of em that can take that type of heat.
We all love the game so much, I think it would be in our best interests to stop complaining until something bad happens again, none of us want him to stop developing. Or at the very least be nicer with how we express ourselves. There's only so much a guy can take. Not that he doesn't deserve it, but to do so for our future enjoyment.

Well, he probably spends 20 minutes a day creating a game. I think if he had worked 1-1.5 hours a day, we would have already been at the moment when mc's childhood friend arrived.

this is a legitimate question that i dont know the answer to, so i ask.
did you check how many were repeat complains vs unique people complaining?
i believe this is an important metric to determine if your point applies or not.
if it's same users spamming hate, then you'd have a legitimate point.
if it's mostly unique users complaining, then we need to let them speak.
in another perspective,
I've always been on the side of, "if this game is not for you, jonathan, just walk away"
but in this case, they have been expecting something, and it was 8 months in the making.
the pre-remake game served as a promise for what's to come.
if that thing they have been waiting for fails their expectations, they deserve to complain.
edit: im still in the middle of it btw, im writing a review for the update, so i can only say meta things.
root beer is not for everyone, but if the pub suddenly starts only serving only root beer, expect the regulars to complain.
if the pub started as a root beer place, there won't be any complaints
i'd say this is expected due to the remake.
in time, those who hate it will eventually leave. don't fault them for being angry, especially when some of them paid for months

Cmon guys, stop throwing shit on the fan. Do you see the game in my signature? That game is dead and the circumstances, at which that game was abandoned where similar to this tread. Don't kick the dev too hard, he might get offended. We already have very few games in this genre, even fewer are good, and the finished ones are generally rare as unicorns. Only versions 0.00001 which are thrown a month later.

Well, the owner of the PUB said that the Remastering would be free, and then decided to change it to Updates every 2 weeks and paid XD.
Without caring about the people who paid the PUB for 8 months waiting for the Remake and of course the Update, they now plan to get more money.
I don't care if the people who defend it like to give all their money to Tori, it just bothers me a little that they want to keep us quiet or for us to leave because if we say things "They could offend the developer, bother them and they would stop producing the Game" .
Brother, the developer is criticized for things that he himself promised and is not fulfilling, is he obligated? Not with the F95 guys, but maybe with those who paid for it.
If Tori hates F95, don't worry, man, he won't stop developing the game, because he just doesn't care what a bunch of pirates say.

what about those who paid before, but stopped in the middle of the 8 months of nothing
they can no longer participate in patreon, but their money have someway made it into the pockets of the other
btw im looking at this objectively, and you can see hints of my message going both ways.
i mentioned how people should be free to complain, but know that they will die off later.
i will personally stay here, to continue cherring on the dev.
i dont have deep emotional connection to this, so im not going to fight further for that post.
