its not just new CG's, theres new scenes as well and a new point system.
so, even if he restart the story, he add to it. played the last update it felt new, not old.
not sure about this update, what kind of scenes he added. but I suppose its different so worth playing.

So instead of finishing remake and releasing it, dev cut it in parts to drop it every 2 weeks because of f95 promotional system on "latest games" (has to be 2 weeks break before game update can appear on spotlight again) and to blueball people into giving him money. Does that surprise anyone?
He already break his promise to stop payment until remaster would be complete, so it is no wonder.

From what I know from time I was still platinum subscriber and leaks after that, there would be more characters, more Aki, which makes me even less willing to pay him for it. I prefer there would be more focus on Ayumi and less side characters.

Eh, the first part of the remake was pretty good. For I now I believe that all the changes will be for the best. The original was pretty sparse on the details and its world felt a bit empty sometimes. So I am glad that there will be more focus given to it.

and then still delays it and doesnt quite make the 2 week deadline

which is why i was giving him such a hard time. i like the updates but im sick of the silliness with the constant promises and then just NEVER meeting a SINGLE promise or deadline lol

Update to game : Anyone willing to post the text at all?

Alot of these games I swear people should just yoink the text for so people in this thread are updated on the progress of the Developers stuff.

Thats most development cycles. I rather them slowly churn things out than completely forget about its existence. Like so many other projects.

Wow, my condolences to those who actually paid for this. By the way, at this point, the 3D effect looks horrendous. I guess it might work well for some CG, but most of the time, it just makes the game feel sloppy.

the amount of content in this 2-week update is very small. it is essentially one scene - the scene with ari in the coffee shop. there are some flashback interstitials, but those are mostly 1 frame images

as for the dialogue... i understand why it took 2 weeks to write all that. it felt like it took 2 weeks to read it. it was sooooooooo dragged out for this update. was tori feeling bad about the amount of content, so he padded it? that's what it seems like.

but the biggest problem is the same as always: the pace of development is just too slow to charge people $15 a month imo. at this rate, it will be MANY MONTHS before we are caught up to the pre-remaster. essentially 1 new dialogue-only scene after 2 weeks is crazy slow... especially since the dev said all this art was already complete, AND this update didn't have to do any major route-splitting...
