For me, creating a quality VN is about making all the elements work, and CGs are just one piece of the puzzle. While visuals are undeniably important, I believe the script is equally crucial - if not more so - and getting the writing right can be a time-consuming process, but it's what ultimately makes or breaks a game imo.
I'm happy for the other games in this genre, regardless of whether they utilize AI or not. As long as they are high quality and not a rushed slop! In fact, I support several fellow creators.
I know I keep saying this but I started this project because I wanted to create a game that I would enjoy playing myself
With 0.6.x, I have extremely high expectations - and for good reason. This milestone marks a significant turning point in the story, and I wanted to ensure it received the time and attention it deserved. I'm confident that the extra development time will pay off.
