Dude, I agree completely if I wanted to see porn with a bad script, I would go to pornhub but I love games like this because of the good writing and the great characters.For me, creating a quality VN is about making all the elements work, and CGs are just one piece of the puzzle. While visuals are undeniably important, I believe the script is equally crucial - if not more so - and getting the writing right can be a time-consuming process, but it's what ultimately makes or breaks a game imo.
I'm happy for the other games in this genre, regardless of whether they utilize AI or not. As long as they are high quality and not a rushed slop! In fact, I support several fellow creators.
I know I keep saying this but I started this project because I wanted to create a game that I would enjoy playing myself
With 0.6.x, I have extremely high expectations - and for good reason. This milestone marks a significant turning point in the story, and I wanted to ensure it received the time and attention it deserved. I'm confident that the extra development time will pay off.
Your game is handling the angst and desires of the characters really well. It's truly a great NTS game.

I get that you're frustrated with the update pace. However, your previous comments did come across as troll-ish, so it's not surprising that others responded with snark.
If you dish it out, you've got to be prepared to take some heat back
More seriously, each game is gonna be different. Different budgets, different # of developers, different amounts of available time, etc
