it's going to be even smaller updates that take 2-3 months from now on.
He says you can ask for a refund, and then tries to play for sympathy and consideration, even though he's been dragging this out for a long time already. And he plans to release the same small bi-weekly updates over the next three months, for sure. As long as he can keep milking it, he will.it's going to be even smaller updates that take 2-3 months from now on.
isnt it obvious ? he did nothing in 8 month. that 8 month developement was 1000% lie.I believe Tori has completely wasted 8 months of time, not as he claimed to have been working hard to reset the original version CGs. It's just that he doesn't want to admit it, and the announcement he made also looks like an AI essay. damn
Does that mean your product still in stage of remake after remake and remake? i'm waiting for 2077 then."Hi i'm Tori with your 2028 6 monthly update, I have ironed out some bugs and initiated a new technical upgrade which involves the screen rotating to the right every ten seconds as an unmutable AI text to speech program narrates 32 thousand words of pure drivel to you at max volume!
Stay tuned for great things next year!"
The game has never been more popular.Starting from January 16th when V0.5.27 resumed updates, it has been approximately 100 days until today, with 5 content updates provided. At least every 20 days, it is difficult to convince people of the so-called biweekly update plan. And the currently REMAKE game content should not be half of the original version. The reality goes against the previous statement that using new AI tools can make development time shorter and more efficient. It's really hard to understand why this game that were once very popular have become like this, and even some game supporters have gone from liking this game to mocking Tori.
For all the insults they sling at you, they stick around because it's extremely hard and rare to find a NTS game of your quality. The game has never been more popular.

Don't let the vocal minority around here mislead you. Most people simply don't care about drama.
In terms of development speed. It is faster. You need to consider the remake has way more content, CGs and animations when compared to the OG. Velocity is just one factor on the remake anyway and not the most important one.
In other news, I just released 0.5.32v2 to the public.

I am super happy about being able to add animations again and opening up the game to more platforms.
I have also reduced the fluff on the script on this v2. I cut down the script by a good 10% chunk - if not more - to reduce that 'wall of text' feeling. Don't expect that will be enough for everyone but it def reads better when I did a replay today, so I'm happy for now.
I appreciate everyone that takes the time to write genuinely good feedback. It has been helpful.
That's just one change among many other small ones. I wasn't able to clear up the backlog completely but once in a while these types of updates are important to maintain the quality of the game.
You can grab that version over onYou must be registered to see the linksor https://f95zone.to/threads/blurring-the-walls-v0-5-32v2.253456/ if you can't for thread to be updated.
If you just want story progression, please skip this update.
Next update will be coming soon™. I'm sad about the delay as I worked really hard to meet the deadline but I need more time.
Dev can be difficult as a part-time solo developer. If, for some reason, this is unbearable news to you. I strongly suggest playing one of the other games out there...

You are the best developer. You've been doing the same thing for months and adding subscribers on patreon is really amazing. I won't argue with that. The game has never been more popular.

Seriously. This and Netorase Phone are the games I go back to just because the story and art are just leagues above everyone else. For all the insults they sling at you, they stick around because it's extremely hard and rare to find a NTS game of your quality.
Wait a minute Torimiata created a new account again?Seriously. This and Netorase Phone are the games I go back to just because the story and art are just leagues above everyone else.
I've tried to say this politely here as well. If he's going for the greatest $/hr I suppose he's probably hitting that mark. But if he's going for actual total profit I can't imagine he's reaching the audience it has the potential to. I was subscribed for a while and wish there was the content to justify keeping the subscription running.Out of all the games I follow — and I follow a lot, really a lot — I think Blurring The Walls is the one that frustrates me the most. Knowing that a game with incredible potential to reach millions of views and that should have five times more patrons than it does is being held back purely because of the developer’s laziness and greed is just disappointing.
Blurring The Walls had the same or even more potential than My New Girlfriend, Moonripple Lake, and others. But it’s being left behind because the greedy dev insists on doing a revamp and has been earning money from Patreon for months without real progress, just recycling the same story, using a few new images and flooding it with millions of AI-generated words (and we all know the images are AI too).
Other devs, after only four or five updates, already have more patrons than he does. It's honestly shameful what Tori is doing, lazy
