Remastering, as in "incompatible saves". You'll have to click-through the whole game again.I've been out of the loop for the past few months, is there any story update yet or is he still "remastering" it?
No the current update (one just released not the one on here) is at the swimming pool. The next update should be later in the night at the swimming pool. Fitting room should be after that.So the next update is going to be of fitting room?
Oh so 1 more update then we will get to see fitting room event. No the current update (one just released not the one on here) is at the swimming pool. The next update should be later in the night at the swimming pool. Fitting room should be after that.
Remastered about half of the old content (+ adding new content) and the chances that we'll get to the end of the toga parti this year are extremely slim.I've been out of the loop for the past few months, is there any story update yet or is he still "remastering" it?
Finally! Someone that understands what the story is aboutDon't know about y'all, but I'm here because of the interesting COOKING tag. There just isn't enough games that boldly uses such a tag... ^^'

Along with the description, makes me a little hungry just looking at it.Looks pretty good, doesn't it?
Oh and yeah, the other tags are pretty cool too. Lawl.
All scenes from Day 4 will be quite different! There will be some new scene in the fitting room ? I think this scene could be improved instead of just spanking
First time I'm hearing anything about performance after the new workHoly crap, I just tried this 5.32v2 build and the performance is HORRID if not horrendous in the Pool scene.

It's a full remake, not a remaster. Incompatible saves are to be expected, you can use the 'Skip unseen text' option on preferences if you want.Remastering, as in "incompatible saves". You'll have to click-through the whole game again.
It does look tasty, and it actually looks like a Sea Bream and not rando fish described as one.I mean, just look at this food porn! It's amazing!

Another year before new content after dev made a remake nobody asked foris there anything new content ...or the old one ?
I'm here because of the interesting COOKING tag
You know, they say 'let the developer cook', so I feel this tag seems a bit self... serving.Blurring the Walls is a cooking VN.
that's called a cow, and ari's tits are too small to be called that... hmmm...female bull(or whatever they're called)
Sure, this seems a little undercooked, but it's just AI art. There aren't many expectations for it to meet, and it services the game for what it is. This is a visual novel and therefore I really don't care about the visuals, ironically. It's a medium meant primarily for storytelling. Other NTS VNs that use AI art have less polished graphics in comparison, sure, but they progress at a far better pace story-wise and update more frequently, while still maintaining compelling writing. I'd argue that quality writing is the most important aspect of NTS as a genre – something which I don't think this game handles very well either, but that's a whole different discussion. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Is there gonna be any scissoring between the FMC and their female bull(or whatever they're called)? That would be great to see.![]()
'Moo, bitch. I'm not the one getting milked tonight.' -Ari, probably, if she could read thatthat's called a cow, and ari's tits are too small to be called that... hmmm...
Appreciate the civil tone on the topic. I don't think there's anything I could say now that hasn't been said already that would convince those who are not yet convinced by the remake.Sure, this seems a little undercooked, but it's just AI art. I totally understand the desire to perfect your work, yes. But remaking a game which you were already in the process of creating is just absurd to me. Especially with how slow the process is. I'm not trying to besmirch the work of the dev or anything, just dropping my two cents into the ongoing argument. I'm simply not sure why a remake couldn't have just waited until after the completion of the game.
I know there's over 200 pages of vile internet drama in this thread which I can't be bothered to research, but I'll just take your words at face value here from a neutral standpoint. My assumption was that honing your craft during development would work better towards a more polished remake after completion, but if the current arrangement works best for you, then there's nothing to complain about. I can't argue over the preferences an author has to the creation of their work. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

For me, the remake is just a better Visual Novel. It has better art, better writing, better story planning, better animations and it's just more fun to work on.
I could have kept patching and hacking my way through it but I think I would have gotten frustrated sooner or later. It wasn't an easy decision to make, and I certainly fucked up a few things along the way... but that's there and we are here now.
Writing quality is subjective, of course, but I put a ton of effort into character development rather than just racing to the "action scenes".
I didn't start this cuz I wanted to make some money. I didn't even knew people were making money off this shitI just wanted to do something fun to try the tech with a story concept I had. Different times.
Now I am taking it more seriously, within the free time I have available. We will get to the good stuff, and in a better shape compared to the OG.
