The only thing I would remove from this game is the bad ending; it's very annoying to have the option to fast-forward a scene and the game ends because of that choice. I love this game, but this bad ending thing is too annoying. Apart from that, the game is perfect for me.

I think penetration should only happen at the end of arc 2 or arc 3. Only 3 days have passed in the game, and Ayumi only found out about the MC's fetish on the afternoon of day 3, so it's difficult to see penetration happening on day 4.

ok so game definitely crashes when a save is attempted during hot tub scene after bikini switch....I attached the "traceback" that automatically goes into the games download folder.....its the same error that pops up when the game crashes so plz Torimiata look into it if you havent already (i posted as a thumbnail cuz people apparently get butthurt on here if you post the full error)

Tori has a HUGE problem

His game is 5GB for how little progress he's made in the story

Let's say that by Days 4 and 5 it'll be, what, 7.4GB?

I understand that he likes quality, and that's appreciated, but he needs to find a more efficient format

He may yet break the game out of "remake hell", but as of right now.... Anyone remember Pure Onyx? It's giving me those vibes. I think they straight up stopped posting updates for that game here for a while because there just wasn't any point when there wasn't any significant new content (and also dev was relentless about getting links taken down + hates F95). Dude just kept reworking old animations every month and adding like 1 new loop to be able to say something was updated and charge people for another update.

There's a reason we all keep coming back here to post and that's because this is the best NTS game out there in terms of storyline. Tori masterfully has built up the progression in a delectable slowburn that when Ayumi is finally impaled by Terrace the world will run out of kleenex.

The problem many people are voicing is that a lot of the fans (myself included), care more about story progression than we do about updating the graphics / animations (which are awesome tho). But it's Tori's decision, it's his vision of how he wants his game to be.

All we can do is decide how we appreciate and support Tori's work that makes sense for each individual.

Our Red String, GGGB, Welcome to Port Haven, Long Story Short... just of the top of my head I can name these 4 games that are light years ahead (seriously, it's not even close) of this one in terms of NTS. Also a lot more mature writing.

played through the first 2 days again. I'm sold on the animations, they are really smooth and the facial animations are nice. I still feel like non-erotic animations are a bit unnecessary tho (terrace with bag of groceries animation, ayumi petting the cat etc.). The skip to day and scene gallery are really fucking nice too cuz now I don't need pages upon pages of saves for scenes I want to replay anymore lol.

minor bugs: On day 1 in the car. After ayumi says "don't stare at Terrace's conquests too much" and you pick a dialogue option, the game autoplays her next lines before I could read it even though I didn't have auto turned on.

When the shaders are off, the whole cg moves around and you can see the borders of the cg over the black background.

edit: Didn't realize v2 dropped alr. I got the bugs on v1 so they could be patched already.

Appreciate the supporting words! Some of the issues such as the CGs moving around have been fixed but the autoplay section is good feedback.

Can you ensure to turn of the shaders on the startup the screen and see if that still happens?

There are some black screens though but if it persists can you give me a screenshot or similar so I know which part of the game has the black screen on your end.

Those particular black screens are intentional (stylistic transition borrowed from JP VNs). If the consensus is they feel jarring I can adjust - but they're meant to create brief pauses.

The only thing I would remove from this game is the bad ending; it's very annoying to have the option to fast-forward a scene and the game ends because of that choice. I love this game, but this bad ending thing is too annoying. Apart from that, the game is perfect for me.

Appreciate the support! Bad Endings are sparse but they let me explore interesting 'what-if' scenarios when choices diverge from the intended path. l have considered adding warnings but I also feel that ruins some of the surprise.

Routes themselves haven't changed, but some scenes were affected by the gallery. I'll take a look.

Good catch and thanks for the traceback - really useful! Should have a fix in the next update (Renpy variable restriction issue...).

You doing a good job with animations. I dont see it often in many other games, so its pretty cool. Excited to see a future update come soon.

Appreciate the support! Something I have mentioned in the latest dev log is that now that we have the scene gallery, I was surprised to see just how many scenes are packed into Day 3 Night events.

Makes sense since it's the end of Act 1 and I wanted to hit certain narrative goals, but it surprised even me.

I do not expect other timezones to be this dense. That level of content concentration will happen more towards the end of each act rather than throughout.

Some other good news. While improvements to the game will always happen, the previous animations were purposely temporary (bad color mapping/grading, non-looping, low-res), I am much happier with the current set - at most might revisit one or another depending on feedback.

Development is progressing smoothly on the actual content update and it doesn't feel that far off.

I played it for the first time. With all due respect, it is quite a great game (visuals), but one fuggin thing is nagging at me: ALL of the so-called "choices" are utterly useless. In what universe does the MC have real control over Ayumi or a situation? Either the MC is "good" with the situation (forced), or after a choice, the scene unfolds the same way as she would do it without a choice (also kinda forced). You have choices between "let her do it" or "I let her do it"! What kind of choices are these? They don t even make sense and they are complete useless!

Just a simple example: the situation between Ari, Ayumi, MC, and Terrance. First visit of Ari. They re standing outside the pool, ready to present their asses to the guys. Ayumi asks, "Oh MC, lovely MC, are you okay with presenting our asses to you?" Choices pop up: 1. Nod slightly OR 2. ...!! BOTH choices have the SAME outcome. They are presenting their asses..to Terrance and MC...without Players Consent! Dont get me started about Day3. Everything that counts...but really everything...was forced! There was NO control whatsoever.....except for a few Scenes at the "end of day".

Sarcasm mode on: The best choice was... let Ayumi get fondled and groped by your "best friend" or let her go full lesbian mode...! YAY Sarcasm mode off!
How about a real 3rd Choice : let her be fondled by her BOYFRIEND...or NEITHER!?!? Whats next? Forced Cheating with some random...because...well...you know...for...reasons?!?! But who am i kidding....the MC is probably okay with that (forced..ofc)!

In conclusion, it doesn t matter which "path" you took...they re all kinda fake and almost every choice is a illusion! You can t gain control and the outcome is always the same..with slightly different Dialogue! Either Ayumi does the same thing after a choice (no matter what you choose), or (surprise, surprise) you get NO choice and Ayumi does her own thing anyway! I thought on the "Dominant Path" WE (the players) are calling the shots? So I m asking: where are my choices to control Ayumi? And I mean real "DO IT or DON'T DO IT" choices! I thought the Dom part is about CONTROL over Ayumi s actions!?!? When does that start?

Btw...how can i skip the forced lesbian sex and the forced makeout with Ari? (day 3) I don t want Ayumi to do this and i don t want her around Terrance. Since she s in "Devoted Puppy" Mode, i as a Player should have a saying in this, right?!? Again...no Choices! wth....!?!?

You can skip the game. It's an NTS game bro. It's literally called "BLURRING" the Walls. Some level of exhibitionism and sharing will always exist no matter your choices. If you want a full vanilla purest path possible this is probably not the game for you.
