so the remaster preview released last week was basically the same as the original chapter 1 launch release (0.2.7).if tori keeps his word, next week there will be another release. the question is how much content will be included? he said:
"I’m releasing 0.5.27, the first preview of the remake Act 1. This marks the beginning of staged releases, where updates will drop every two weeks with whatever is ready until Act 1 is complete."
this "whatever is ready..." statement makes it sound like the next release will NOT contain the full chapter 2 launch content (ari's introduction, the pool scenes, the drinking game that night) but some subset of that content.
even if every 2 weeks, he released a new chapter, and that chapter matched the original-launch chapters, that would mean we would be caught up sometime in mid-march to the original content pre-remaster. almost exactly a year of stalled progress.
but my suspicion is that these 2-week-releases will be much smaller than the original releases, and if so, we are still many months away from the content being caught up to the initial, pre-remaster. we might be looking at summer before any new-content development starts, much less completes.
